Attention Juniors: The PSAT exam is scheduled for Saturday, October 16, 2010. The PSAT is a practice version of the SAT exam. The PSAT offers students the opportunity to prepare for the SAT exam, enter scholarship and recognition programs, and receive information from colleges. If you are interested in taking the PSAT exam, see Mr. Kiefer in the counseling center by Thursday, October 14th.
There will be a Spanish NHS meeting Thursday, October 15 for everyone going to Whitmore- Bolles on Friday, October 22. Bring your lesson plans if you have them.
Anyone interested in trying out for the 2010/2011 Dearborn Unified Hockey team will need to attend a mandatory parent meeting this Thursday, October 14 @ 7 p.m. The meeting will be held upstairs at the DISC.
Northern Michigan University will be here on Tuesday, October 12 @ 7:30 a.m. with on-site admissions.
Central Michigan University will be here on Wednesday, October 13 @ 1:15.
U of D-Flint will be here on Thursday, October 14 @ 12:00 with on-site admissions. All those who have signed up for the above mentioned visitations will be blue-slipped at the appropriate time.
Want to make money with just ten dollars? Mr. Grenfell’s AP Econ class is making a mutual fund which is available for anyone to invest in. It is ten (10) dollars a share and you will get the money, plus any gains or losses at the end of the year. For more information, contact Mr. Grenfell in room B-11 or Vice President/Treasurer, Ahmed Harhara.
Students, there are many students and staff members who cannot be exposed to fragrances due to health issues. Please do not spray perfumes, cologne or any fragranced item in school. Thank you for your cooperation.
Any student interested in starting a debate club, there will be an organizational meeting TODAY, Tuesday, October 12th @ 6 p.m. in room B-11. Pizza and pop will be provided. See Mr. Grenfell for more details.

You will not be allowed to attend the Homecoming Dance if you have any discipline referrals during the month of OCTOBER!!
HOMECOMING TICKETS will be on sale during both lunches starting Monday, Oct. 4- Oct. 15th. The homecoming Dance is October 16th from 7-10pm. Tickets are $40 per couple and $25 single. NO ADMITTANCE TO THE DANCE AFTER 8 PM!
Lunch applications are available in the student office. You MUST turn in a lunch application EVERY year. All applications are due to the Student Office by October 15th!
