Attention all students! Please order your yearbook now! See a yearbook staff member, or go to yearbooksforever.com to insure that you receive your copy of this year’s Edsel Ford yearbook before they are all gone!
LINK Meeting today during A & B lunches. Please bring your lunch to the back of the cafeteria during whichever lunch you have. See Ms. Haddad if you cannot attend.
Do you like to make videos? Are you a safe driver? The LINK crew will be hosting a video competition about driving less distracted. The video must be between 3-7 minutes long, include statistics on safe driving, and be entertaining! Please submit your video to Mrs. Haddad before Feb 26th. Winner will receive a $150, second place will receive $50! Top two videos will be submitted into a national competition.
Girls, Are you interested in playing tennis this spring? There’s a preseason players’ meeting on Thursday February 13th at 3:30pm
Attention softball players: There will be a meeting in the cafeteria after school on Tuesday February 11th. All girls interested in trying out for the junior varsity or varsity teams must attend.
Ready to Run?! There will be an informational meeting for the Edsel Ford Running Club, Tuesday, Feb. 11th right after school starting at 3:30 in room A210. Any questions, find Mr. Belknap. Remember: if you can walk, you can run!!
Buy a carnation for your friend, sweetie, mom or favorite teacher! They are on sale at both lunches for $2 and come with chocolate! Link Crew will be selling them thru Thursday, Feb. 13th and delivered on Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14th.
Students and Staff- Edsel Ford will be sponsoring a Red Cross Blood Drive on Tuesday, February 11th. You may donate blood if you are 17 years of age, or 16 years of age with a parental permission slip. Registration will take place this week.
Attention all Ninth graders: All ninth grade students must change their district passwords over the next two weeks. Any ninth grade student who hasn’t changed their password by February 21st will be locked out from signing into a computer within the district and district applications (such as Gmail, iLearn, Engage, and Mahara).
Attention student representatives for the Class of 2015 – There will be a meeting after school on Thursday, Feb. 13th in B5.
There will be a boys golf meeting Tuesday, Feb. 11th in room B-1 with Mr. Pletzke at 3:25 for about 15 minutes. If you have any questions please see Mr. Pletzke in room B-1 before the meeting.
WAYNE STATE WILL BE VISITING ON WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 12TH 7TH HOUR. IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN ATTENDING THIS PRESENTATION, YOU MUST SIGN UP TODAY IN THE COUNSELING OFFICE TO ATTEND. THE VISIT WILL BE TAKING PLACE AT 2:20 PM – 7TH HOUR. DON’T MISS OUT! YOU WILL BE BLUE SLIPPED DURING YOUR 6TH HOUR TO ATTEND.
