Reminder: Student who were assigned Wednesday after school detention for January 29th will need to report to detention today. If you do not report to this reschedule after school detention, you will be suspended the following day.
LINK Meeting on Monday, Feb 10th during A & B lunches. Please bring your lunch to the back of the cafeteria during whichever lunch you have. Come see me if you cannot be in attendance.
Students who are part of the AAYSP Mentoring Program will be blue slipped on today during 1st hour for their first meeting with the professional mentors in the cafeteria.
ASAP classes will start on Tuesday, February 11th. If you registered to take a class, please make sure you have received your schedule from the Student Office.
Would you like to earn community service hours and help out some future Thunderbirds? Long Elementary is seeking Edsel Ford students to tutor some of their elementary students. See Mrs. Haddad upstairs in A200 if you are interested!
Attention all field hockey players – Coach Jefferson will be in the cafeteria with your state t-shirts after school on Thursday, February 6th. If you can’t make it, please contact her.

ATTENTION SOPHOMORES, JUNIORS AND SENIORS: COLLEGE PRESENTATION VISITS are coming to Edsel Ford! College presentation sign up has been extended through February 7th for the week of February 10th. All visits for the week of February 3rd have been rescheduled to March. Please come to the counseling office to sign up for the college visits by the end of this week. If we do not receive enough sign ups, the visit will be cancelled. So hurry! Sign up now!
The Graduation Expo is coming to Edsel Ford on Saturday, February 8th from 10am to 1pm. Everyone is invited to attend this FREE event where you can compare pricing for your senior graduation party needs. Juniors can check out photographers for the senior pictures. There will be raffles, food samples, a prom dress shop, hair salon, photo booth and more. Save the date and plan to attend the Graduation Expo!
Just a reminder that tutoring is every Tuesday-Friday in the media center from 3:25-4:00. On Wednesday’s tutoring is upstairs in A205 from2:20-3:30. Please take advantage of this free and useful resource.

Do you like to make videos? Are you a safe driver? The LINK crew will be hosting a video competition about driving less distracted. The video must be between 3-7 minutes long, include statistics on safe driving, and be entertaining! Please submit your video to Mrs. Haddad before Feb 26th. Winner will receive a $150, second place will receive $50! Top two videos will be submitted into a national competition.
There will be a girls soccer meeting after school Thursday, Feb. 6th at 3:30 in the cafeteria. All girls interested in playing soccer please attend this meeting.
Girls, Are you interested in playing tennis this spring? There’s a preseason players’ meeting on Thursday February 13th at 3:30pm
