Please join the Senior Party Committee in their last fundraiser for the Class of 2013 at Leo’s Coney Island (Ford Road & Greenfield location), this Friday, March 15th from 3pm to 8pm. The Senior Party Committee would like to thank the staff and students who participated in any fundraiser they had during the past 2 years.
Class officers are reminded to recruit 10 athletes (5 boys, 5girls) for the Wheel Chair Basketball Game on Tuesday, March 19.
Students and staff: On the evening of March 19 there will be a Wheel Chair Basketball game for charity in the large gym. It will cost $4.00 to get in and all the money will go to charity.
Come see the classes play each other, and then the last game of the evening will be pit members of the “Thunderbirds” professional wheel chair team, Edsel Ford staff, Dearborn Firefighters and members of the Dearborn police department: the first game will begin at 7:00 PM.
Seniors: Prom tickets will go on sale starting this Friday, March 15th at both lunches. Tickets are $45.00 for a single ticket and $85.00 for a couple. Tickets will be on sale every Friday for now, and more often as the date gets closer.
Gently Used Formal Dress Sale:
Edsel is joining with Fordson and Dearborn High in hosting a Gently Used Formal Dress Sale on Friday, March 15th, at Fordson High School in the Auditorium, from 2:30-4:30. A wide variety of gowns will be available for all to choose from, many with tags still on them. Please stop by Fordson after school this Friday and check out the beautiful gowns!!!
All proceeds collected will be donated to Children’s Hospital of Ann Arbor. Please see Ms. Souweidane or Ms. Armstrong if you have any questions. Thank you!!

The Edsel Ford PTSA will award two $500 scholarships to graduating seniors. Senior must be member of the PTSA, carry a 2.0 GPA or higher, and be college bound in the state of Michigan. All scholarship applications must be received in the Main Office by Friday, March 15th.
Hey Seniors we need your baby picture for a guessing game that will take place at your Senior Party. Please bring in a baby picture no larger than 4” x 6” to main office to be a part of this fun event at your party and you could win a fantastic prize.
The Edsel Ford Talon is an annual literary magazine that will be published at the end of the school year. Students and staff are invited to submit original artwork, poetry, short stories, or literary nonfiction by Friday, March 22, 2013. For further information, please see Ms. Prieur in room F-9.
Attention student athletes: Your winter athletic banquet will be Wednesday, March 20th at 5pm. Banquet forms are available in the Main Office and must be returned to either Mr. Picano or Mrs. Keveney by Friday, March 15th.
