Over the past 6 years, Neighbors United has been hosting fundraising events across Michigan to support firefighters battling cancer.  October 1st is the start of our fundraising efforts for the year and we ALREADY HAVE 5 FIREFIGHTERS WE ARE SUPPORTING.

Last year’s inaugural walk here in Dearborn was a huge success raising awareness and funds for Michigan firefighters who are fighting this horrible disease affecting our profession.  With cancer now being recognized as one of the leading causes of deaths among firefighters, we need this year’s walk to be BIGGER and BETTER!!

Whether you choose to dress up or not, we welcome everyone to join us in raising money and awareness about this horrible disease affecting firefighters.  100% of all money raised goes directly to these Michigan firefighters or their families if firefighters have passed.

Thank you for your support and helping us make a difference in the lives of Michigan firefighters battling this horrible disease
