Dearborn Unified Figure Skating Team

Attention students interested in joining the Dearborn Unified Figure Skating Team:  

There will be an informational meeting for interested students and parents at the Dearborn Ice Skating Center this  Friday, October 20 at 6:30 pm at the Dearborn Ice Skating Center.  Information for the upcoming season will be provided, and Coach Jaclyn Darwish will be on hand to answer any questions you may have.  In order to be successful, basic ice skating skills are needed.  This would include the ability to skate forward and backward with good balance.  Skaters must provide their own figure skates and will need to purchase basic competition apparel (information will be available at the meeting, along with a draft budget and any questions answered).   

The team is self-funded, although skaters are eligible to earn varsity letters at their respective Dearborn Public schools.
