Congratulations to the winners of the March is Reading Month Bookmark Contest – Lauren Boyd, Hannah Roach, Salman Ahmad, and Dylan Charles. Their bookmarks will be available in the library in April.
If you find a Pokemon minifigure as part of the March is Reading Month Scavenger hunt you can bring it to the library to get candy and a free book. Students can only win once and you get to keep the pokemon.
Below is the schedule of events for the rest of charity week. Charity Week will conclude with a Staff vs. Student basketball game and rally from 1:00 – 2:45 PM on TODAY. You will be school-related for both your 5th and 6th hour for the pep rally.

Interested in taking classes at Michael Berry next year? Some of the programs that are offered are Allied Health, Computer Design courses, accounting, hospitality and criminal justice.

Class of 2022 Prom
Prom is coming! The Edsel Ford Senior Prom will take place on Sunday, May 22 at The Henry Hotel. SENIORS may purchase tickets from class officers during A and B lunch on Tuesdays and Thursdays.. Seniors may also purchase tickets from Mrs. Hodge in room E8. It’s $50 a person or $80 for two people. Couples tickets are going up to $90 after break and we have a limited number of tickets available. Thursday is the last day to buy tickets before the price goes up. You must show your student ID in order to purchase a ticket. Guest passes are in the student office.
The Class of 2024 is selling t-shirts and hoodies. Please see Ms. Gallagher in B-7 or your US History teacher for an order form. All orders and payment are due to Ms. Gallagher by March 24th.
Edsel Ford PTSA is again offering at least one $500 scholarship to a senior. The scholarship looks at PTSA and PTA service, community service, school involvement and other factors. While it is preferred that the student be a PTSA member, it is not required.

EFHS Student Athletic Scholarship Application – The Booster Club will once again offer scholarships to seniors this year, but this year we will provide 4 $500 scholarships, 2 for girls, 2 for boys. Applications are due by April 21. Directions in application.
Detroit Institute of Arts
The Detroit Institute of Arts is looking for Edsel Ford’s best artists. Please, submit your artwork to The Detroit Institute of Art’s Wayne County High School Art Exhibition. Yearbooks will be on sale at Lunch. If you would like to buy a 2021 (last year’s yearbook) there still are some available for $75. If you would like to pre-order a 2022 yearbook (this year’s yearbook), you can do so at lunch or after/before school in F-9 Mr. Pletzke’s classroom for $65.
If you buy a 2021 and 2022 at the same time during the month of March , the cost for both will be $125. Payments can be CASH or CHECKS made out to Edsel Ford.
