Attention all students: please take a couple of minutes during T-Time today to complete a short survey about the ‘You Don’t Know Me Until You Know Me’ assembly that you attended last week. It will be emailed to you by Mrs. El-Mubarak right before T-Time. Your teachers will also have a QR code for you to scan if you can’t find the email. 

Charity Week

Below is the schedule of events for the rest of charity week. 

Charity Week will conclude with a Staff vs. Student basketball game and rally from 1:00 – 2:45 PM on Friday, March 25th.

 In order to attend this event, you must purchase a ticket for $10 during lunch. A limited number of these tickets will be sold. Today is the last day to buy your ticket during both lunches. You will be school-related for both your 5th and 6th hour for the pep rally. 

Pie a teacher and pie a student will be during the pep rally as well. Teachers that will be getting pied are

Schedule For Charity Week Charity Week Pep Rally


Interested in taking classes at Michael Berry next year?  Some of the programs that are offered are Allied Health, Computer Design courses, accounting, hospitality and criminal justice.  

If any of these interest you, please come down to the counseling office and sign up to attend a tour to go to Michael Berry.  Spots are limited.  First come, first serve.   

Mobile Food Pantry

Edsel Ford will host a mobile food pantry in partnership with Gleaners, TODAY, 3/23  from 11:30am to 12:30pm. If you are interested in volunteering please email Ms. Patrice at wrightp@dearbornschools.org.

The Interact Club is looking for Blessings in a Backpack volunteers TODAY, 3/23,  from 6 – 7:30 pm. ALL students are welcome and will earn 1-1/2 Community Service hours. Check the EF Club page for more information.

Bookmark Contest

Key Club

Key club will have a meeting TODAY, 3/23  at 3:00 in A207 to discuss our next leadership presentation that will take place on April 6th. 

Class of 2022 Prom

Prom is coming! The Edsel Ford Senior Prom will take place on Sunday, May 22 at The Henry Hotel. SENIORS may purchase tickets from class officers during A and B lunch on Tuesdays and Thursdays.. Seniors may also purchase tickets from Mrs. Hodge in room E8. It’s $50 a person or $80 for two people. Couples tickets are going up to $90 after break and we have a limited number of tickets available. Thursday is the last day to buy tickets before the price goes up. You may purchase your tickets before or after school and also during t-time. 

 You must show your student ID in order to purchase a ticket. Guest passes are in the student office. 

The Class of 2024 is selling t-shirts and hoodies.  Please see Ms. Gallagher in B-7 or your US History teacher for an order form.  All orders and payment are due to Ms. Gallagher by March 24th. 


Edsel Ford PTSA is again offering at least one $500 scholarship to a senior.  The scholarship looks at PTSA and PTA service, community service, school involvement and other factors.  While it is preferred that the student be a PTSA member, it is not required.

Students can learn more details and complete the scholarship online at this link: PTSA scholarship.  The scholarship deadline is April 12.

Student Athletic Scholarship-  The Booster Club will once again offer scholarships to seniors this year, but this year we will provide 4 $500 scholarships, 2 for girls, 2 for boys. Applications are due by April 21. Directions in application.

Detroit Institute of Arts

The Detroit Institute of Arts is looking for Edsel Ford’s best artists. Please, submit your artwork to The Detroit Institute of Art’s Wayne County High School Art Exhibition. Yearbooks will be on sale at Lunch.  If you would like to buy a 2021 (last year’s yearbook) there still are some available for $75.  If you would like to pre-order a 2022 yearbook (this year’s yearbook), you can do so at lunch or after/before school in F-9 Mr. Pletzke’s classroom for $65.

Students, Edsel is now offering Free Tutoring! Work in small groups to receive tutoring from our own EFHS highly qualified teachers and/or NHS members.
