Students, if you have signed the waiting list for chromebooks and have not received one yet, please come see Ms. Beydoun in the Student office.


Game Club will meet in the Media Center TODAY after school 


ALL NHS members, newly inducted or returning from last year.

All forms must be returned to Mr. Dallas in B10 or you will not be considered an active member, in good standing, at the end of the semester, for the 2021-2022 school year.

Our next meeting will be next Wednesday January 12 immediately after school in B10.  All candidates for the four officer positions must be prepared to give a 2-3 min speech on why they are the best individual for their position of choice.   

Election will follow the meeting.


The Robotics meeting will be on Wednesday in Ms. Salsberry’s room (across from boys gym) information packet pick up for KICKOFF and season competitions 

Fashion Club will meet Thursday January 6, 2022 in room E5 at 3 pm. If you are interested in joining the Fashion Club please plan to be present for this meeting . 

DECA Club will meet Thursday January 6, 2022 in room E5 at 3 pm. This is a mandatory meeting for all DECA members who plan to attend the District 8 Conference.

AANM Writing Fellows Program

AANM invites Dearborn/Detroit-area high school students to apply for the AANM Writing Fellows program, a creative writing fellowship opportunity. Applications are due by January 9, 2022. Up to 25 students will be selected for the program. No creative writing experience is necessary!

A Certificate of Completion and a $250 gift card upon full completion of the program 

Thursdays, February-June 2022

Application Deadline: 11:59 p.m. ET Sunday, Jan. 9

AANM Writing Fellows Program

Model United Nations

Model United Nations is a simulation of the UN General Assembly and other multilateral bodies. Students step into the shoes of ambassadors from UN member states to debate current issues on the organization’s agenda.

All High School students in the Dearborn/ Dearborn Heights area are welcome to join!

Meetings will be held every other Thursday at 6:00 PM

Detroit Institute of Arts

The Detroit Institute of Arts is looking for Edsel Ford’s best artists. Please, submit your artwork to The Detroit Institute of Art’s Wayne County High School Art Exhibition. Scholarship Opportunities

The University of Michigan Club of Greater Detroit is sponsoring twelve unique scholarship opportunities for incoming Freshman students attending  UM Ann Arbor in the Fall of 2022.

Yearbooks will be on sale at Lunch.  If you would like to buy a 2021 (last year’s yearbook) there still are some available for $75.  If you would like to pre-order a 2022 yearbook (this year’s yearbook), you can do so at lunch or after/before school in F-9 Mr. Pletzke’s classroom for $65.

If you buy a 2021 and 2022 at the same time during the month of January , the cost for both will be $125.  Payments can be CASH or CHECKS made out to Edsel Ford.


Student ID’s are required for all home JV and Varsity Basketball games.

Due to Covid numbers increasing, the school district is considering a spectator limitation.  If you are in attendance, please make sure that you are fully masked and your behavior is appropriate.

EFHS Free Tutoring 

Students, Edsel is now offering Free Tutoring! Work in small groups to receive tutoring from our own EFHS highly qualified teachers and/or NHS members. 

When: Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays – 3:00 – 4:15 p.m.
