Students, if you have signed the waiting list for chromebooks and have not yet received a blue slip, please come see Ms. Beydoun in the Student office before school.
Clubs
AANM Writing Fellows Program
AANM invites Dearborn/Detroit-area high school students to apply for the AANM Writing Fellows program, a creative writing fellowship opportunity. Applications are due by January 9, 2022. Up to 25 students will be selected for the program. No creative writing experience is necessary!

Model United Nations
Model United Nations is a simulation of the UN General Assembly and other multilateral bodies. Students step into the shoes of ambassadors from UN member states to debate current issues on the organization’s agenda.
All High School students in the Dearborn/ Dearborn Heights area are welcome to join!
Meetings will be held every other Thursday at 6:00 PM

Scholarship Opportunities
The University of Michigan Club of Greater Detroit is sponsoring twelve unique scholarship opportunities for incoming Freshman students attending UM Ann Arbor in the Fall of 2022.

The due date for scholarship applications is February 11, 2022 by 5:00 pm.
Please note: the UofM Club of Greater Detroit will be following up with their program via email- Please email the name of your College Counselor and their email address to scholarships@umclubgreaterdetroit.org

Yearbooks
Yearbooks will be on sale at Lunch. If you would like to buy a 2021 (last year’s yearbook) there still are some available for $75. If you would like to pre-order a 2022 yearbook (this year’s yearbook), you can do so at lunch or after/before school in F-9 Mr. Pletzke’s classroom for $65.
If you buy a 2021 and 2022 at the same time during the month of January , the cost for both will be $125. Payments can be CASH or CHECKS made out to Edsel Ford.
Athletics
A Student ID is required for entering home athletic events. Please have your ID ready at the Ticket Desk!
Freshman Boys Basketball game admission is now for adults only. Students may attend with a parent.
For those interested in playing baseball- There is an informational meeting today, Monday, Jan 3 after school in the cafeteria
Student Athletic Passes are available for $40 . The pass will get you into any home athletic event. Please see Mr Silver during lunch or after school in the Athletic Office.

EFHS Free Tutoring
Students, Edsel is now offering Free Tutoring! Work in small groups to receive tutoring from our own EFHS highly qualified teachers and/or NHS members.
When: Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays – 3:00 – 4:15 p.m.
