Attention Students:
Reminder to please turn in your signed emergency cards if you haven’t done so already!
Picture Retakes have been postponed and will now take place on Wed. November 10th. If you have not had your picture taken yet, teachers will inform you what time you are to report to the auditorium.
Students who have picture packets that would like to have their picture retaken, may do so by showing their packet to the 3rd hour teacher, and then reporting to the auditorium on that day.
There are no retakes for new IDs at this time.
AMS Youth
Deciding on a career can be difficult. It can be a struggle for even the best of us.What if you could meet a panel of professionals who have already gone through this struggle and get their expert advice?

Clubs
The Game Club will meet in the library after school TODAY in the media center.
The first Chess Club meeting of the year will be TODAY, 11/3 at 2:55 in room F12. The new advisor for the Chess Club is Mr. Younes.
Key club has a meeting after school TODAY, in room A207. Key club also has a bake sale tomorrow, 11/4. Please come support!
Band/Orchestra/Choir
A Music Concert is in store for you! Concert Band, Orchestra, and Choir are returning to the Edsel Ford Auditorium TONIGHT, 11/3 at 7:00 p.m. Please join us for this free event! As this is indoors, masks are required for all spectators.
The Interact Club is looking for Blessing in a Backpack volunteers for TODAY, 11/3 from 6 – 7:30 pm.
ALL students are welcome and will earn 1-1/2 Community Service hours. Check the EF Club page for more information.

Scholarship Opportunities
The University of Michigan Club of Greater Detroit is sponsoring twelve unique scholarship opportunities for incoming Freshman students attending UofM Ann Arbor in the Fall of 2022.

Yearbooks
Yearbooks will be on sale at Lunch. If you would like to buy a 2021 (last year’s yearbook) there still are some available for $75. If you would like to pre-order a 2022 yearbook (this year’s yearbook), you can do so at lunch or after/before school in F-9 Mr. Pletzke’s classroom for $65.
If you buy a 2021 and 2022 at the same time during the month of October, the cost for both will be $125. Payments can be CASH or CHECKS made out to Edsel Ford.
Seniors: Headshots for the yearbook are DUE December 1st. Directions and photographers are listed in the Edsel Ford High School Blog under the Yearbook tab.
Athletics
Attention Men’s Swimming: Conditioning for the Edsel Ford Swim team starts Monday, November 8 from 3-5 after school in the cafeteria. Please bring appropriate workout clothes.
All girls interested in playing basketball, Coach Baydoun will be holding preseason conditioning from 3:10 to 4:15 pm today and tomorrow 11/3 & 11/4. Please meet inside the main gym and come dressed for the weather!
Bowling
Any male and female bowlers interested in bowling for Edsel Ford’s high school teams, there will be a meeting TODAY, 11/3 in C-3 right after school. Coach Tyler will talk about practices and bowling tryout dates.
Student Athletic Passes are available for $40 . The pass will get you into any home athletic event. Please see Mr Silver during lunch or after school in the Athletic Office.
