The Arabic club meeting for Elections will be held today, Tuesday October 19 during B lunch in room B 3.
The Interact Club is looking for Blessing in a Backpack volunteers for Wednesday, October 20 from 6 – 7:30 pm. ALL students are welcome and will earn 1-1/2 Community Service hours. Check the EF Club page for more information.

NHS
Reminder***** All NHS applications, letters of referral and documentation of community service hours are due to Mr Dallas by October 30. Late materials will not be accepted.
Class of 2024
For those interested in being a part of the Class of 2024 committee, please come to our meeting on Wednesday, October 20th in B7 directly after school. We will discuss how to get involved in fundraising and upcoming events.

Scholarship Opportunities
The University of Michigan Club of Greater Detroit is sponsoring twelve unique scholarship opportunities for incoming Freshman students attending UofM Ann Arbor in the Fall of 2022.

Yearbooks
Yearbooks will be on sale at Lunch. If you would like to buy a 2021 (last year’s yearbook) there still are some available for $75. If you would like to pre-order a 2022 yearbook (this year’s yearbook), you can do so at lunch or after/before school in F-9 Mr. Pletzke’s classroom for $65.
If you buy a 2021 and 2022 at the same time during the month of October, the cost for both will be $125. Payments can be CASH or CHECKS made out to Edsel Ford.
Seniors: Headshots for the yearbook are DUE December 1st. Directions and photographers are listed in the Edsel Ford High School Blog under the Yearbook tab.

Varsity Soccer
Your varsity soccer team has a huge playoff game against Dearborn High tonight at 7pm! Come show your support as your Thunderbirds look to defend their district championship! Show up and get loud!
Girls Basketball
All girls interested in trying out for basketball this upcoming season – Coach Baydoun will be holding a short, preseason meeting Thursday at 2:55pm in the cafeteria. He is looking forward to seeing you all there
There will be a home Freshman Football game this Thursday, 10/21 against Dearborn High. This game was added to the schedule. Come out and support your Thunderbirds!
Varsity Football
Due to the lack of participation, the booster club bus that was scheduled to take students to the last varsity football game in Taylor, has been canceled.
Attention students interested in joining the Dearborn Unified Figure Skating Team:
There will be an informational meeting for interested students and parents at the Dearborn Ice Skating Center tonight, October 19 at 8:00 pm.
Information for the upcoming season will be provided, and Coach Victoria Lebryk will be on hand to answer any questions you may have. All skating ability levels are welcome! Any questions, feel free to contact Robbin Makled (team manager) at robbin.tenglin@gmail.com
Student Athletic Passes are available for $40 . The pass will get you into any home athletic event. Please see Mr Silver during lunch or after school in the Athletic Office.
