Clubs

The Drama Club will meet today at 3pm in the Auditorium.  

BPA-Calling all students, the Membership drive has started, please come and check out BPA today, 10/6  in room F8 after school.

The Muslim Student Association will have its first meeting TODAY,  in room B-06 during both lunches. We will meet every Wednesday.

Newspaper – The Bolt, will meet in room F9 Tomorrow, 10/7 at 2:55.

Seniors:  Headshots for the yearbook are DUE December 1st.  Directions and photographers are listed on the school website under the Yearbook tab.

DECA-our next meeting will be Tomorrow, 10/7 after school in F8.

Key Club

Key Club’s next meeting is today, 10/6, in room A207, right after school. 

NHS

Anyone applying to, or in the NHS and needs service hours, Mr. Dallas has information on a volunteer tutoring opportunity at Hype Athletics.   See him in B10 if interested.

Scholarship Opportunities

The University of Michigan Club of Greater Detroit is sponsoring twelve unique scholarship opportunities for incoming Freshman students attending UofM Ann Arbor in the fall of 2022.

Community

ACCESS is now accepting applications to this year’s Teen Grantmaking Initiative (TGI)! TGI is the only Arab American youth-led philanthropy group in the country. Launched in 2011, TGI trains teens to give back to their community through philanthropy and community. Help make a difference in your community and gain leadership skills today! Yearbooks 

Yearbooks will be on sale at Lunch.  If you would like to buy a 2021 (last year’s yearbook) there still are some available for $75.  If you would like to pre-order a 2022 yearbook (this year’s yearbook), you can do so at lunch or after/before school in F-9 Mr. Pletzke’s classroom for $65.

If you buy a 2021 and 2022 at the same time during the month of September, the cost for both will be $125.  Payments can be CASH or CHECKS made out to Edsel Ford.

Athletics

Your Edsel Ford Thunderbird Soccer team has a chance to win our FIRST Downriver League championship TONIGHT at 6PM at HOME vs WOODHAVEN!

Your support means a lot to the team, and the boys would love it if you could attend! It’s also Senior Night, so it’ll hopefully be a very special night for this group of Thunderbirds! See you there!

US Marine Corps Challenge

A unique opportunity for HighSchool Athletes to participate in a friendly yet competitive fitness challenge!

Host location: Crestwood High School 

Each High School must register their team of 10 students to participate! Marines will be on hand to instruct and assist registered participants

Student Athletic Passes are available for $40 .  The pass will get you into any home athletic event.  Please see Mr Silver during lunch or after school in the Athletic Office.
