Student Reminders
Students you must bring back that Household Information form that you were given as soon as possible. It is important that the district gets these forms back in order to stay a free lunch school !
Night School
Night School has begun. If you are enrolled in night school and you haven’t received your schedule yet, please visit the counseling office.
Picture Day
Picture days will continue today and tomorrow
Please speak with your English teacher to verify which day your picture day is taking place.
All students must have their pictures taken, including seniors.
Students who do not have an English at Edsel, are encouraged to take their picture on Thursday, September 23rd during the hours they are in the building.
Homecoming
The Homecoming Dance will be held this year on October 2nd. Tickets are $25 for individuals and $40 for couples. You can purchase tickets during A and B lunches.
Clubs
Edsel Ford Newstaff – THE BOLT
Attention Thunderbirds! If you would like to join the Edsel Ford Newstaff, THE BOLT, please come to room F9 Tuesday September 28th at 2:55 for a short meeting and sign up. We are looking to grow the newspaper so please come to check it out and be a part of the student news.
The EF Interact Club has invited guest speaker and Rotarian Jim Thorpe to speak on Thursday, September 23rd at 2:55 in F-9 (Mr. Pletzke’s room). Mr. Thorpe will explain what the Rotary/Interact club is and how they impact the community. Everyone is welcome.

One Nest- The One Nest committee has started a new Instagram profile to increase school spirit. Follow them @ef1nest to share photos of yourself and friends at school events!
DEBATE- It is not too late to join the EF Debate Team. We will be meeting in F8 after school on Tuesday, and preparing for our first meeting, which is October 4.
BPA- Tomorrow’s meeting will take place in F8 after school. See you there.
DECA– anyone interested in joining EF’s DECA chapter, please join us on Thursday, Sept 23 in F8. Come find out what this Marketing completion group is all about.
Game Club will start on Wednesday, September 22nd in the Media Center. If you are interested in games of any kind, such as board games, card games, or Dungeons & Dragons, come check it out! No sign up is needed, just show up by 3:00 in the media center!
Anime Club will have a kick-off meeting in the library on Thursday, September 23rd. No sign up is needed, just come to the library by 3:00 on Thursday.

Key club’s first meeting will be tomorrow September 22nd at 3:00 in the cafeteria. Please join, we have many volunteer events coming up!
The Edsel Ford Interact Club is looking for 10 volunteers to participate in Blessings in a Backpack. Blessings in a Backpack provides weekend food/snacks to Dearborn elementary students.
You must provide your own transportation & you will receive 1 – 1/2 hour volunteer time.

Yearbooks
Yearbooks will be on sale at Lunch. If you would like to buy a 2021 (last year’s yearbook) there still are some available for $75. If you would like to pre-order a 2022 yearbook (this year’s yearbook), you can do so at lunch or after/before school in F-9 Mr. Pletzke’s classroom for $65.
If you buy a 2021 and 2022 at the same time during the month of September, the cost for both will be $125. Payments can be CASH or CHECKS made out to Edsel Ford.
Student Parking
From now on, any student that parks in the parking lot without a parking sticker, will be ticketed. If you still need a sticker, you may purchase one in the main office before school. Make sure to bring your license and registration along with $20 (cash only)
