Today is the kick off for Battle Against Hunger.  Let’s Go Edsel! Today’s fun fact; Zaman works in conjunction with Gleaners Food Bank to help feed families in need in our area.  Please continue to donate food and cash toward the Battle Against Hunger during T-Time/SSR. Thunderbirds make a positive difference.

Attention all EF Thunderbirds interested in girl’s tennis this spring.  There will be an informational meeting Wednesday November 20th right after school at 2:25 in the cafe.  

Try-outs for the boy’s basketball teams will take place Today, Monday, November 18th in the main gym.  The freshmen will try-out from 2:30-4:00,  the varsity will go from 4:00-6:00, and the J.V. will go from 6:00-8:00.  All athletes MUST have a sports physical in order to try-out.  Please see Coach Baydoun if you have any questions.

The deadline for students to sign up for dual enrollment for 2nd semester is Monday, November 25th. You must see your counselor to check if you are eligible and if the classes you want to register for are accepted.

Dearborn’s Got Talent!  Auditions, December 6 & 13 @ O.L. Smith Middle School.  5 p.m.-7 p.m. For more information please check out the flier on the blog.

All potential bowlers, tryouts will begin Today, Monday at Thunderbowl Lanes on Allen Road at 2:45. You will need a sports physical.

The Senior All Night Party Class of 2020 parent group is having a meeting Tuesday, November 19 at 6pm in the EFHS cafeteria.  We are voting where to have the party so it’s imperative that parents come to vote. Please come and support your students.

Part of our school wide PBIS behavior philosophy is that school events are designed for students that are in good standing both academically and behaviorally. These events include all dances, field trips, celebration of achievements, etc. Any student that has been Out of School Suspended is not allowed to attend these events. Additionally, if a student is OSS they are not allowed on school grounds or at any before or after school sponsored events while on suspension; this includes away sporting events.
