*In every community, the youth’s voice has been limited and no change can be made. The Dearborn Youth Affairs Commission is an opportunity to make yourself heard. The DYAC was created by Mayor Jack O’Reilly and the vision for this group was to seek change in the community and ensure that people’s voices are heard and changes were made for the better. Only select leaders from the community are chosen to be part of the DYAC. From attending Town Hall meetings to hosting the city-wide event: Dearborn’s Got Talent for all talent to be shown, we look to honor our ways, by making it all about the people. Our city is in a crisis where our youth has decreased in involvement on political action and community engagement. Most of our commitment has now been from the older generations. However, now it is time for that demographic to change. The younger generation has been given a chance to answer the call to act and make a difference. So, are you up to making a difference in your community? Apply by November 15th at 11:59pm.                          ( https://forms.gle/8FzWG9fVMVkcRoJy6 ) {run thru 11/15}
