STUDENTS! IF YOU HAVE NOT HAD YOUR PICTURE TAKEN AND DO NOT GET A BLUE SLIP IN YOUR FIRST HOUR, PLEASE SEE MS. PAGANO IN THE ATTENDANCE OFFICE!! Students will be blue slipped for picture day tomorrow.

TEACHERS have also BEEN EMAILED A list.  9th graders at 7:30 and 10-12 at 8:30. Retakes ( Students that have a picture package) may go to the auditorium at 9:30.

If you are a senior and are considering attending University of Michigan-Dearborn, the rep will be here on Monday, October 28th for on-site admissions. You will need to apply to the college online no later than Wednesday, October 23rd. Also if you have taken a SAT or ACT, other than the one you took in school last year, you must print off from College Board or ACT your scores. Please bring your scores to Mrs. Welmers by the 23rd. In the counseling office there is a sign up sheet for specific times to meet with the rep.

If you are an 11th or 12th grader, and are thinking about taking a dual enrollment class next semester, you must sign up in the counseling office in order to  attend a meeting. There will be a separate meetings for students who have never taken a class and for students who have taken classes. You must sign up by Monday, October 21st, 2:30.

SENIORS I SHARED A FORM WITH YOU ALL LAST WEEK TO FILL OUT FOR DIPLOMA NAMES!  PLEASE TAKE A MINUTE TO FILL IT OUT. Your name should be exactly as it appears on your driver’s license. If you have any questions, please see Ms. Hall in the Main Office.

Attention all girls interested in playing basketball this year.  There will be a meeting in the cafeteria on Tuesday October 22 at 2:25.  Please attend if you want to tryout for the basketball team this season.

The Black Student Union or BSU, will be hosting a Halloween Party on the 29th in room E12 with Ms. Williams!! For $5 you will be able to watch the movie ‘Ma’, decorate a pumpkin and more!! Please bring all money to Ms. Williams in E12 before the 29th!!

The Prudential Spirit of Community Awards is Seeking Michigan’s Top Youth Volunteers of the Year

Students in grades 5-12 are invited to apply for 2020 Prudential Spirit of Community Awards if they have made meaningful contributions to their communities through volunteer service within the past 12 months. The application is available at http://spirit.prudential.com and www.nassp.org/spirit. Students must complete the online application by November 5, 2019.

There will be a mandatory BPA meeting TODAY,  THURSDAY after school in F-8.

All those interested in joining DECA please stop my F-8 on Thursday after school.

The Undergrad Honors Ceremony will be held TOMORROW, Friday, October 18, 2019 @ 8 a.m. in the auditorium.  Please dress appropriately. No tennis shoes, shorts or t-shirts please.
