Drama Club will meet after school today 2/6/2019 (2/7 if we have an ice day) in the Auditorium.Mary Poppins cast and crew need to attend.  There are chorus roles available and we especially need dancers of both genders. We will teach you.

Congratulations to our EFHS Singers who competed this last weekend at MSVMA District 12 Solo and Ensemble.  Nora Heaton earned a “II” rating for her solo performance and Elizabeth and Catherine Dicks were awarded “I” ratings for each of their solos and their duet.  Congratulations to them and many thanks to Dr. Sean Jackman who served as their accompanist.

Students!  I need your Dentists R Us forms back ASAP! We need an accurate count of students wanting to take advantage of the free dental procedures!  BRING THEM IN TO THE MAIN OFFICE!! Thanks The Dentists will be here on Feb 20, 21 & 22 provided we have enough students participating in this program.

Senior quotes are due no later than Friday.  Forms have been given to Mr Tyler Mr Remington.  If you do not have one of them and would like to do this stop by F9 and get a form from Mr Pletzke.  

Attention All Debate Team, BPA Members, and Chess Club….please meet in Room F-8 after school on Wednesday to get your pictures taken for the Yearbook.

Tri-M Music Honor Society Members – There will be a meeting tomorrow, February 5 during T-Time in the band room. Please bring a pen.

Congratulations to our Edsel Ford musicians for outstanding performances at MSBOA Solo & Ensemble on Saturday. All Edsel Ford students earned medals in the top two division ratings! Congratulations to Sam Yettaw, Oscar Vasquez, Lorenzo Gonzales, Chris Adams, Molly O’Brien, Colleen Stover, Nasreen Bazzi, Emma Walker, Maya Moreau, Shatha Haidar, Kyla Heaton, Isabella Caruana, Nora Heaton, Abby Hetner, and Megan Buck.

Art club will start back up on Tuesdays after school at 2:30 in Mrs. Donoghue’s room in F-3. Bring your creativity and we will see you there!

Link Crew:  there will be a meeting to discuss the All Girls Charity Week Dance, Safety Night and much more during both A & B lunches on Thursday, Feb 7th at the back of the cafeteria.  Please make every effort to be there!

Our first Charity Week Meeting will be this Thursday, Feb 7th after school in the cafeteria.  If you interested in helping plan Charity Week, please attend after school in the cafeteria. The meeting will last until about 3:30.

Want to see your artwork peeking out of everyone’s books in March? Enter the Edsel Ford bookmark contest! Create a bookmark that highlights reading and/or books. Pick up an entry form fin the media center. Entries are due February 14th. The winning bookmarks will be given out at local libraries in March.

Calling all girls.  Buy your tickets for the Girls Only Dance starting on Monday.  The dance is happening on Tuesday, February 12 right after school in the Little Gym.  Buses will be provided at 5:45. Tickets cost $7 and will benefit this year’s EFHS Charity.  Let’s make this dance a good time for all the girls at Edsel.

A Girls Only Dance planning meeting will be held on Tuesday, February 5 in Room A201 right after school.  Girls, we need your help now.

2nd Semester ASAP registration has started. Credit recovery classes offered in the After School Academic Program (ASAP) begin on February 12th  from 2:30 to 4:15 on Tuesdays/Thursdays, and/or Wednesdays/Fridays. Each class runs two days a week and each class costs $150. There will be a $75 discount for early registration. Funds are limited so it is important to enroll in these classes soon. Registration forms are available in the counseling office or by visiting Mr. Naimi’s iBlog.
