The next planning meeting for the Charity Week Girls Only Dance is Tuesday, January 15 at 2:20 in Room 201.  Ladies, please join us to help plan this great event!

Freshmen!  There will be a Cocoa and Cram study session on Tuesday, January 15th from 2:15 to 4pm upstairs in the academy that will be hosted by your link leaders.  The goal is to get you ready for your finals starting on Wednesday, Jan 16th! You must sign up outside Mrs Haddad’s office before Jan 15th if you are interested in attending.  The 4:15 bus will be available for transportation. Hope to see you there!

Seniors that were proficient on the State Mandated April 10, 2018 SAT are exempt from first semester finals only.  You are disqualified if you are on audit or not passing the class. Exempt seniors will be school related for Jan. 16, 17, 18.  Exempt Seniors may take the final if they choose. Eligible Seniors will receive an email with more details.

Drama Club will meet in the Auditorium after school TODAY, Wednesday 9 January 2019.

DU Hockey plays at Trenton Wednesday 1/9 at 8:30 vs. Monroe St. Mary’s Catholic

Game On!, an after school game club, will meet in the Media Center today from 2:20-3:50 for all types of gaming fun.  

Attention Juniors:  You have the opportunity to sign up for either an SAT Skills Camp Workshop or an SAT practice test.  Both of these events will be held on Saturday, January 19th at 8:30 a.m. at Edsel Ford High School.   The SAT Skills Camp Workshop is an excellent way to better prepare for the upcoming SAT exam in April.  Sign up sheets are in the counseling center for both opportunities, sign up soon as seats are limited. Please see your counselor if you have any questions.

If you have signed up for a Dual Enrollment class for second semester, those classes begin today.  If you have an online Dual Enrollment class be sure to log-in to the class today so that you’re not dropped.  If you have any questions or concerns, please see your counselor

Attention Students: Please be advised that your second semester schedule is now available in both Parent and Student Connect.  Schedules will NOT be printed and must be accessed electronically. Second semester begins on Tuesday, January 22, 2019.

Congrats to May BPA Members:  Moreau, Dan Loudon, and Xavier Song.  They placed at the BPA Regional competition over the break and will be headed to States in March.
