The contest is open to students under age 19 as of October 1, 2019. However, please know past winners are generally writing at the high school level.
The official deadline to submit essays is Monday, January 7, 2019. Essays should be submitted to me either by e-mail: Divislori@gmail.com, or US Mail: Dearborn Optimist Club, 4801 Oakman Blvd., Dearborn, MI 48126.
