SENIORS! November 15 & 16, 2018, Jostens will be here, during A & B lunches, taking cap and gown orders! We will be receiving the packets any day now and I will let you all know so you can take the packet home and choose what you would like to order!
There will be a boy’s swim team meeting on Tuesday, October 23rd at 2:30 in the cafeteria.
There will be a boy’s basketball informational meeting on Wednesday, October 24th at 2:30 p.m. in the small gym. Any student who plans on trying out this year must attend this very important meeting. Please see Mr. Baydoun in the counseling office if you have any questions.
Are you interested in learning about the LGBTQ community? Would you like to talk to others, learn about your peers and explore issues facing today’s society? Come to the GSA meeting Wednesday, October 24. GSA is a safe and open place for honest dialogue for ALL people, regardless of orientation or gender expression. The meeting will take place in Mr. Doyle’s room, the choir room. We’ll be planning things to do for the year and meet new people.
Just a friendly reminder to anyone that plans on playing a winter or spring sport this year. If you haven’t already had a sports physical done and turned in you will need one to tryout. If you have any questions please see Mr. Picano.
All girls interested in playing basketball need to attend an informational meeting on Wednesday October 24th in the cafeteria at 2:20.
Attention ALL Debate Team Members, please meet in F-8 on Monday, right after school, to set up for Monday’s league meet here at EFHS!
Are you a creative thinker and interested in exploring the arts? Art Club is for you! The first Art Club meeting will be Tuesday after school at 2:30 in Mrs. Donoghue’s room in F-3.
There will be a meeting for Boys and Girls Bowling after school on Tuesday October 23. We will meet in the cafeteria and provide tryout dates.
Seniors!!! There will be an important Financial Aid meeting for you and your parents. If you are filling out FAFSA this meeting is a must!!! Tuesday, October 23rd at 6:30 pm in the Media Center.
If you are a 11th or 12th grader and interested in taking dual enrollment classes next semester, you must sign up in the counseling office for an upcoming meeting. You will find out at the meeting if you are eligible to take college classes.
Seniors: If you have applied to University of Michigan Dearborn or thinking about applying, stop by your counselor to get important information about an On-site admissions opportunity on Thursday, Oct. 25th.
Salina’s 100th Anniversary is Friday, October 26, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Tickets are 15 dollars in advance – 20 dollars at the door. You must be 18 years and older to enter. Ticket includes food, drink, dessert, and a Salina souvenir.
Our 6th annual Mother/Daughter Tea, sponsored by Dearborn, Edsel Ford and Fordson High schools also known as D.E.F.F. is Thursday, November 1, 2018. Please see Ms. Ali, or Ms. Popp for MORE information.
