It’s time for the S-P-E-L-L-I-N-G B-E-E!  No, this isn’t the spelling bee you loved (or hated) as a kid!  Come join the EFHS Performing Arts Department as they present “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee” – a hilarous evening of laughs, competition, pandemonium, and quirky kids who love to SPELL!  Tickets are on sale at both lunches and are $2 cheaper than if you wait and buy them at the door.  Please be aware that this isn’t your kid brother’s spelling bee.  There are mild adult language and situations in the show.  Who knows?  You might even want to sign up and show off your own spelling prowess…or just watch! Shows are Thursday through Saturday at 7:00pm in the Auditorium.

There will be a color out cancer run THIS Sunday May 6th at Dearborn High! Race will begin at 12:00! Tickets are $15 including shirts, register during both lunches!!

With the institution of School Wide Positive Behavior Intervention (PBIS) Support, any infraction that occurs requiring an assigned out of school suspension is considered a major offense.  Any student that causes a major infraction resulting in an out of school suspension will not be allowed to participate or attend any school function.  It is our philosophy that school events are designed for students that have not broken the rules and are in good standing academically and behaviorally.  These events include all dances including prom, any celebration of achievement, and the senior barbeque.   If a student is out of school suspended they are not allowed on school grounds or at any before or after school sponsored event while on suspension this does include away sporting events.

Reminder regarding hallway passes: Any student leaving your classroom must have a signed pass (in their planner). No planner, no pass. No passes for restroom. Call for security if a student must use the restroom. Students should be reminded that they have 5 minutes between classes to use the bathroom. There is no passing time/passes between 3rd hour and SSR. No passes during SSR. Students should not leave class during announcements or during reading time.
