Attention all EF Thunderbirds. If you plan on trying out for a winter sport this year you will need a sports physical completed prior to trying out. No sports physical on file will result in you not being able to tryout.
All 9th graders please listen. A sports physical is different from the green health appraisal form that you turned in in the beginning of the year. If you have any questions please see Mr. Picano in the athletic office.
Girl’s competitive cheer tryouts will be on Monday, November 6 at 3:30 in the cafeteria. All girls interested will need to have a sports physical completed to tryout.
Attention students: If you are interested in testing out of a class, the test out registration forms are now available in the counseling center. Please see counseling center secretary Mr. Eldridge. The deadline for filling out a registration form is Friday, November 17th.
Conditioning will take place Thursday right after school for any student who plans to try out for the boy’s basketball team. We will meet by the weight room. Please see Coach Baydoun in the Counseling Office if you have any questions or concerns.
The EFHS Performing Arts Department will present AutumnSong, the Annual Fall Concert at 7:00pm on Thursday 2 November 2017. Performances will feature our Orchestra, Band, Chorus, and our award winning Marching Thunderbirds!

There will be a Model United Nations meeting in Mr. Golles’ room A208 after school on Friday, November 3rd.

MOTHER DAUGHTER TEA IS NOVEMBER 8TH! Tickets are $20 a pair and additional tickets are $10. A table of 8 can be reserved. Bring your mother, grandmother, aunt, etc…to celebrate TEA for TWO at the Henry Ford Performing Arts Center. Tea, Punch and Sweets will be served. Join the Tea Tin Raffle. Participate to win a prize for the Craziest Hat, Most Elegant Hat and Best Hijab. All money that is raised supports the Annual D.E.F.F. Unity Scholarship at each High School.
