We are  happy to share with you that LAHC will once again offer its FREE Youth Leadership & Diversity Education Program. This great program is entering its six year and open to high school and college students throughout Wayne County (11th and 12th Grades). For more information, please pick up a flier in the Main Office.

Wednesday, Oct 18th during 2nd hour we will have an assembly in the auditorium on Cyberbullying.  Officer Jeremy and Detective Williams will answer questions and give information about how to prevent and deal with this very huge problem affecting our society today.  Teachers, sign up in the main office if you would like your students to participate.

Sign up at lunch for fun games and activities during A & B lunches next week!  Winners will get free passes to the game and/or spirit gear.  The Link Crew and Flock are working together to put this together.

All girls interested in competing on the gymnastics team should attend a brief meeting on Monday, October 16 at 2:30 in the cafeteria.

Students, the tutoring club is now available to join. You get an hour of community service every Friday for helping your fellow classmates. If interested, see Ms. Haddad for all the details. The tutoring sessions will be held every Friday during B lunch. if you’re struggling with your grades be sure to drop by.

MOTHER DAUGHTER TEA IS NOVEMBER 8TH!  Tickets are $20 a pair and additional tickets are $10.  A table of 8 can be reserved.  Bring your mother, grandmother, aunt, etc…to celebrate TEA for TWO at the Henry Ford Performing Arts Center.  Tea, Punch and Sweets will be served.  Join the Tea Tin Raffle.  Participate to win a prize for the Craziest Hat, Most Elegant Hat and Best Hijab.  All money that is raised supports the Annual E.E.F.F. Unity Scholarship at each High School.  Students must be accompanied by an adult.
