If you are a senior with at least a 3.0 overall GPA, and interested in learning about University of Michigan-Dearborn and did not get a chance to sign up through your language arts class , sign up in the counseling office today only!

There will be a meeting for all girls interesting in joining the gymnastics team. The meeting will be on Friday, October 14 immediately after school in the cafeteria.
The NHS meeting for the members from last year will be Wednesday, October 12 at 2:25 in the cafeteria.
Attention juniors….The PSAT/NMSQT exam will be held on Wednesday, October 19th. This is an optional practice SAT test. Students who earn high scores can also qualify for a National Merit Scholarship. The cost of the exam is $15.00. If you are interested in learning more about the test please sign up in the counseling center.
Undergrad Honors celebration will be held on Friday, October 21, 2016 @ 7:30 a.m. Invitations have been sent out to those students who achieved a 3.50 GPA in one or more semesters for the 2015/2016 school year. If you do not receive an invitation and you think you should have, please check with your counselor. We will also be honoring the students with perfect attendance from the 2nd semester of the 2015/2016 school year!
Attention juniors and seniors, if you are interested in signing up for a Dual Enrollment class for second semester, please sign up with counseling secretary, Mrs. Tynan. Counselors will be running informational meetings with students based on who signs up.

If you are interested in joining AAYSP mentoring program, please visit the counseling office to obtain a permission slip, or you can download it by visiting Mr. Naimi’s iBlog. The mentors will spend some time with students in engaging and fun activities that explore various themes of self-confidence, communication, decision- making, and academic success.
The meetings will take place once a month at EFHS and will be between 15 and 20 minutes during first hour. Our first meeting will take place on October 12, 2016.

Attention juniors and seniors if your are considering a career in any branch of the military, the ASVAB placement exam will be held on Thursday, October 13th. The ASVAB exam results are required to enlist into in any branch of the military. If you would like to sign up to take the ASVAB exam, please see Mrs. Tynan in the counseling center.
Attention Seniors: If you are interested in getting help with your college application, please come to the old school store located near the cafeteria during lunch this Wednesday and Thursday.
