TOMORROW, WEDNESDAY, MARCH 16TH IS A LATE START!!
Student volunteers will give interested students and/or parents tours of the MBCC programs during Parent/Teacher conferences on Wednesday, March 16th from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
Engineering Club will not meet this Wednesday due to conferences. See you next week!
The Community Center will be closed TODAY, Tuesday, March 15 due to Parent Teacher Conferences.
Guest passes for Sponge are ready. If you have turned in a Guest Pass application please bring your $5 to the Student Office before school, during your lunch, or after school to pick it up.
SENIORS- The DEFF UNITY scholarship is a joint effort between DHS, EFHS, FHS to support student leaders who strive to ensure a unified, safe, supportive, peaceful, socially just, culturally sensitive school community. The scholarship is for $1000.
Actual monies for scholarship recipient will go directly to the financial aid office of the college recipient will be attending.
The application deadline is Friday, March 25th. Return completed application with all required attachments to Mrs Haddad. Please see Mrs Haddad or your counselor for an application.
Attention students: Tickets are now on sale for Edsel Ford’s most exciting event of the spring: the annual Sponge Dance. This years theme is A Trip To Candyland, and it will be held on Friday, March 18th. Tickets are $25 each, and only $45 for couples. Buy your tickets today during A or B lunch, or in the Student Office after lunch. Don’t miss out on this awesome night of fun, dancing, and – of course – lots of candy!
Auditions for the Spring Musical will begin Tuesday. We have an exciting line-up of possible shows. The sign-up sheet and information are on the board outside the Choir Room. See a Drama Club member for more information.
Spirit Week HAS STARTED!
- Tuesday is Tacky Tourist Day! Wear things that tourists do like fanny packs, binoculars, and safari hats.
- Wednesday is Workout Wednesday! Dress like the older fitness videos or a jock, but remember the school dress code is still in effect.
- Thursday is Theme Day! Dress like your favorite superhero, Disney character or movie character. No masks will be permitted and the dress code is still in effect.
- Friday is Thunderbird Pride Day! Each class will dress in a different themed shirt.
- Freshman wear plaid, Sophomores wear neon colors, Juniors wear camouflage, Seniors wear tie dye and Teachers wear black and white.
