Attention students: Tickets are now on sale for Edsel Ford’s most exciting event of the spring: the annual Sponge Dance. This years theme is A Trip To Candyland, and it will be held on Friday, March 18th. Tickets are $25 each, and only $45 for couples. Buy your tickets today during A or B lunch, or in the Student Office after lunch. Don’t miss out on this awesome night of fun, dancing, and – of course – lots of candy!
Tickets for this week’s performances of “Dancing at Lughnasa” will be available during both lunches today through Friday. Presale tickets save you money!

ASAP classes start this week. If you have enrolled to take ASAP classes, please make sure you have received your schedule from the Student Office.
Congratulations to Cassie O’Brien who won 2nd place and a $250.00 prize yesterday at the Dearborn Optimist Club Awards Luncheon for their annual essay contest. Cassie was the only DPS student who won an award. We are so proud of your accomplishment and the outstanding representation for Edsel Ford High School!
If Any male and female athletes interested in running track please attend an informational meeting and sign up on Wednesday, February 17 after school in the gym.
Do you like engineering? Would you like a chance to win a scholarship for HFCC in the Engineering Program? If so, please plan to meet on Wednesdays after school in room B-3 to find out information about the HFCC Engineering Design Fair and the HFCC Field Trip.

Are you good at resolving conflict? We are looking for 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students that would like to be peer mediators here at Edsel. Our first training will be on February 23rd. Please see Mrs. Haddad during 1st thru 3rd hours upstairs in A200 or Ragih Murshed. There will be 4 trainings in total and we will begin the peer mediation program mid to late march.
