STUDENTS ATTENDING THE UNDERGRAD HONORS ASSEMBLY NEED TO DRESS APPROPRIATELY. NO SHORTS, NO TENNIS SHOES, DRESS SHIRTS, PANTS, AND DRESSES ARE APPROPRIATE FOR THIS EVENT!!

The Class of 2016 is selling black and white 2016 lanyards. They are $5. Order forms are available from any Class Officer or in room E4. Order forms are due by November 7. Also, did you miss out on the Thunderbird Nation shirts from last year? Your chance to order your Thunderbird Nation shirt has arrived again. T-shirts are $10 and $15 if you want your name printed on the back. Order forms are available in E4 or from your Class Officers. All names are subject to approval and all orders must be turned in to Ms. Goddard no later than November 7th.

ATTENTION SOPHOMORES, JUNIORS, and SENIORS….IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN THE FOLLOWING COLLEGES VISITS, YOU MUSTCOME DOWN TO COUNSELING AND SIGN UP.  WAYNE STATE, HENRY FORD, U/M – DEARBORN, U/M – ANN ARBOR, U/DETROIT – MERCY DEADLINE TO SIGN UP IS:  FRIDAY, OCTOBER 24TH.

Attention anyone interested in wrestling this season.  Conditioning for will Mondays, Wednesday & Fridays from 3:45-5:15 in the wrestling room.  All are welcome to attend.

Attention Seniors: Krispy Kreme fundraising order forms and money are due to Mrs. Keveney in the main office by this Friday, October 24th.   Thank you for supporting your class!

Buy a Halloween Boo Bag full of candy for a friend or that special someone for only $1. The Class of 2015 will be selling candy bags at both lunches and will deliver them on Halloween to that special someone. 

All girls interested in joining the gymnastics team should attend the information meeting TODAY after school in the cafeteria.

TODAY, October 23rd, the EFHS Class of 2017 Senior Party Committee will be hosting a Baked Potato & Baked Goods Sale during conferences from 4-7 PM.

PARENT/TEACHER CONFERENCES TODAY, THURSDAY FROM 4-7 P.M. REPORT CARDS WILL BE GIVEN TO PARENTS AT THIS TIME!

STUDENTS! PICTURE RETAKE WILL BE OCTOBER 28, 2014 BEGINNING AT 7:30. THIS IS FOR STUDENTS THAT HAVE NOT HAD A PICTURE TAKEN OR IF YOU DIDN’T LIKE THE PICTURES YOU PAID FOR AND WANT THEM RETAKEN.

ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS!! If you would like to join ACCESS, please stop by the counseling office or at the ACCESS main office in south Dearborn to pick up a registration form. The program runs Mondays through Fridays from 4 pm – 6 pm. If you need help with your homework, this is the right place for you. This is a yearlong program that is packed with fun. Our first field trip, which is to GLEANERS Food Bank, is right around the corner. Students will receive a 2 hour volunteer certificate. Come join the fun and get your grades up while you’re at it!

Edsel Ford High School Performing Arts Department presents The Canterville Ghost and Haunted Theatre Based on the story by Oscar Wilde. The EFHS Performing Department’s production of The Canterville Ghost runs from October 22 to October 24 and begins at 7:00 p.m. 15 minutes after the close of the play, Edsel’s Theatre is turned into a horrifying place of blood-curdling sights and sounds to thrill and chill all who dare to tread its boards! Pre-Sale Tickets for The Canterville Ghost are $8 for Adults and $6 for students and Senior Citizens. Tickets at the door are $10 for adults, $8 for students and Senior Citizens. All tickets include a trip through the Haunted Theatre following the performance. Tickets for just the Haunted Theatre portion are available for $5 at the door.

SENIORS!! JOSTENS WILL BE HERE ON OCTOBER 30TH, AND 31ST, 2014 DURING BOTH LUNCHES!! THIS IS THE TIME TO ORDER CAP & GOWNS, CLASS RINGS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR GRADUATION!!!

Save the Date! THIS FRIDAY, October 24, 2014, we will be holding the Undergrad Honors Ceremony in the auditorium. Students will be blue slipped to the cafeteria at 7:30 a.m. 10th, 11th, and 12th grade students will be honored for receiving a 3.5 or higher in one or both semesters last year…if any student has not received an invitation and feels this is an error, please see me, Ms. Hall in the Main Office ASAP!

Any student who is interested in dual enrollment for second semester needs to sign up in the counseling office. The first pick up for applications is scheduled for October 24th. Please see your counselor if you have any questions.
