It’s Spirit Week so show your T-Bird pride and dress up for the following Spirit Days. Today is America Day – hooray for the red, white and blue. Tuesday is Twin Day so grab a friend and dress in the same outfit. Wednesday is Character Day so pull out those costumes and dress like your favorite character. Will we have a Mickey and Minnie Mouse in the halls? Thursday’s Senior Dress Up Day and Pajama Day for underclassmen. Thursday night is the Homecoming football game. Come out and support your Thunderbirds and see who announced Homecoming queen is. Friday night is the Homecoming Dance and tickets are still available to purchase during lunch.
Freshmen interested in decorating the hallway for spirit week, please come to A205 today (Mon, Sept. 29th) for a short meeting. The meeting should not last longer than 15 minutes. Thank you, Mrs. Haddad

WE NEED VOLUNTEERS TO HELP OUT DURING THE COLLEGE FAIR TOMORROW BETWEEN 5 PM – 8 PM. SIGN UP IN THE COUNSELING OFFICE VOLUNTEER A COUPLE HOURS OR ALL THE HOURS IF YOU CAN!
ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS; Do you speak a second language? Do you want to be one of the high school elites to be awarded for your academic achievement in a world language and English? The Dearborn Public Schools’ Seal of Bi-literacy is recognizing students who have excelled in two or more languages. If you have any questions or concerns, please see your counselor or world language teacher for more information. (10-2)
We now have tutoring every Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 3:25-4:25!! Monday is always upstairs in A205 and Tuesday and Thursday is in the media center.

Please buy a raffle ticket from a yearbook staff member in order to pay for a senior baby ad for Mike Gomez’s mother. Tickets are $1 a piece or 6 for $5.00
Homecoming Dance tickets are now on sale during both lunch periods. Come with a friend, a group of friends or that special someone for only $25 a single ticket and $45 for a couple’s ticket. Dream Big Under The Big Top at the Homecoming Dance, October 3rd from 7pm to 10pm.
Students, you may think that you are not going to college or that you have plenty of time to decide. START NOW! Edsel will be having a College and Business/Trade School Fair SEPTEMBER 30 from 6 pm – 8 pm in the cafeteria. Get a head start by visiting our college visitors ON Tuesday, September 30. It’s never too early!
