Attention Current NHS Students:  There will be a meeting Thursday, Feb. 13th at 3:25pm in the cafeteria.  If you cannot attend, you must email Mrs. Welmers by 8pm tonight and include your reason why you cannot attend.

DUE TO TESTING AND OTHER MAKE-UP ACTIVITIES FROM THE WEATHER CONDITIONS, THE WAYNE STATE UNIVERSITY  VISIT HAS BEEN CANCELLED FOR TODAY AND WILL BE RESCHEDULED.  STAY TUNED FOR UPDATES!

There will be a brief sign up and informational meeting after school in the cafeteria for Boys and Girls Track athletes on Thursday, February 13.

Do you like to make videos?  Are you a safe driver?  The LINK crew will be hosting a video competition about driving less distracted.  The video must be between 3-7 minutes long, include statistics on safe driving, and be entertaining!  Please submit your video to Mrs. Haddad before Feb 26th.  Winner will receive a $150, second place will receive $50!  Top two videos will be submitted into a national competition.

Girls, Are you interested in playing tennis this spring?  There’s a preseason players’ meeting on Thursday February 13th at 3:30pm

Buy a carnation for your friend, sweetie, mom or favorite teacher!  They are on sale at both lunches for $2 and come with chocolate!  Link Crew will be selling them thru Thursday, Feb. 13th and delivered on Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14th.

Attention all Ninth graders: All ninth grade students must change their district passwords over the next two weeks. Any ninth grade student who hasn’t changed their password by February 21st will be locked out from signing into a computer within the district and district applications (such as Gmail, iLearn, Engage, and Mahara).

Attention student representatives for the Class of 2015 – There will be a meeting after school on Thursday, Feb. 13th in B5.  If you are dismissed at 2:15, you must stop by B5 to see Ms. Cunningham.

Congratulations to our EFHS singers for their fine performances at District 12 Solo and Ensemble Festival. Vocal Ensemble received a “Good” rating. Joanna Frantz earned a “Good” rating, Benjamin Timpf and Tiera Berry earned “Excellent” ratings and Nathaniel Booth garnered the coveted “Superior” Rating. All of the soloists will advance to the State Level held the second weekend in April. Congratulations and HUGE thanks to Mr. Haury and Mrs. Frantz for their wonderful accompanying skills!

World Languages Test Out Level 1 has been rescheduled for today. Check-in is between 3:00 pm and 3:30 pm in the ASC Boardroom.

Computer Apps and written performance exams (PE Health) will be on March 5th at ASC with check-in between 3:00 pm and 3:30 pm in the ASC Boardroom.

Reminder:  Student who were assigned Wednesday after school detention for January 29th will need to report to detention today.  If you do not report to this after school detention today, you will be suspended the following day.

There will be a Thornley Court Club meeting today right after school at the usual location.
