EDSEL FORD HIGH SCHOOL

DAILY BULLETIN

Please come to Buffalo Wild Wings on Thursday December 12 and support the Edsel Ford French Club!  Be sure to bring your flyer and if you don’t have one, please stop by E9 and pick one up.  Thanks and see you there!

Hey Edsel!  Give us your pennies!!  All next week the grades and staff will be competing against one another to raise money for Kids Against Hunger. You can donate your coins in the main office or at lunch.  The winning class will be the one that collects the most pennies.  But…there’s a catch!  If you donate larger coins and bills to the opponent’s jars, it will subtract that many pennies from their jar.  For example if I’m a freshmen and I put a dollar in the seniors jar….then 100 pennies need to be removed from their total.  So do a good thing and donate to a great cause!!  Thanks!

All students who DO NOT have a 7th hr at Edsel Ford may pick up their report cards from the main office before school, during lunch and after school.

Need some extra help in math or science???  Every Wednesday afterschool starting on Dec. 11th some students from the U of M Dearborn will come over to Edsel to help tutor students in math and science.  They will meet upstairs in room A205.  Please come see Mrs. Haddad for details.

If you are a 9, 10 or 11th grade student who is proficient in all subject areas and are in a leadership class and would like to be a part of the Student PBIS Committee, please see Mrs. Noland by Friday, December 13th.  There is a form for you to fill out and an essay for you to write.  The form is in the Main Office.  Pick it up and return to Mrs. Noland by Friday, December 13th.

ATTENTION BOOK CLUB ENTHUSIASTS:  WE WILL DISCUSS “INSURGENT” BY VERONICA ROTH ON THURSDAY, DECEMBER 19 IN ROOM E2.  SEE YOU THERE!

Would you like the new PS4?  The Athletic Booster Club is selling raffle tickets for only $5 for a chance to win a new PS4, one controller and a certificate for a free game from Game Stop. Purchase your tickets during lunch or in the main office from Mrs. Keveney. The winning ticket will be drawn during the varsity basketball game on December 19th.

Do you want three hours off of school with a movie and snacks??  There will be a competition to see which GRADE can have the fewest total tardies to class.  The winning grade will win a movie during 5th and 6th hours and get to go home early from 7th hour!! To earn the prize each individual of the winning class needs to have fewer than 3 tardies and no office referrals during that two week period.
