DAILY BULLETIN

Any student that has not returned a signed Concussion form will NOT be able to participate in the following activities, but not limited to, the following: gym class, school sports, field trips, and anything else that results in physical activity.

The deadline for forms to be turned in is Tuesday, October 15, 2013.        

ATTENTION SENIOR STUDENTS! Remember to order your Class Panoramic Photograph by going ONLINE or Mailing your order forms to Schoolpictures.com by Monday, October 7th.

All boys 9th-12th grades who are interested in wrestling this season, there will be a 15 minute information/sign up meeting on Friday October 18th at 3:30 in the wrestling room.

There will be an MSA meeting after school in Room A2 at 3:25.

STUDENTS:  If you have a Members Focus savings account, School Life Magazine wants to interview you!  See Mrs. Keveney in the Main Office.

Anyone interested in attending U of M, the Muslim Student Association is holding a Wolverine Weekend. Please see Ms. Tynan in the counseling office or Ms. Talasis in the student office for more information. 

Attention all students: It is important that you get to all your classes on time-as is the case everyday. Anyone caught skipping today will be sent home immediately. Seniors: this means that you will not participate in the senior picture at the end of the day 

Seniors: If you expect to be pictured in the yearbook, your senior picture is due to Ms. Daly by October 25th.

The first official meeting of the Anime club will be Thursday, October 10th at 3:30 in room E8. We will be discussing future club events, upcoming anime convention and enjoy delicious food.  All are welcome to join!

NEXT WEEK IS SPIRIT WEEK!!! HOMECOMING FOOTBALL GAME IS FRIDAY AND THE HOMECOMING DANCE IS SATURDAY!!! THE SCHEDULE IS AS FOLLOWS…all days should comply with the student code of conduct!!

Monday: Crazy Hat Day: These hats can be outrageous and fun, but they should in no other way go outside the Student Code of Conduct.

Tuesday:  Pajama Day

Wednesday: Detroit Sports Teams and State of Michigan Athletic Team Apparel Day

Thursday: Sunglasses and Hawaiian Shirt Day

Friday: Black and White Day

STUDENTS!  EVERY FRIDAY IS SCHOOL PRIDE DAY.  WEAR YOUR EDSEL FORD SHIRTS OR BLACK AND WHITE!! SHOW YOUR SCHOOL PRIDE!!!

Homecoming tickets are now on sale! Tickets are $45 for a couple & $25 for a single. Tickets will be on sale through NEXT Friday, October 11th at both lunches.

Students!  All lunch applications for free and reduced lunch MUST be turned in to the student office by Friday, October 11th or your benefits may be denied.  

After school tutoring has begun. Tutoring is scheduled for Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 3:30-4pm in the media center.  Please come with specific questions due to the limited time.  Thank you!

THIS Saturday, October 6th, don’t miss the opportunity to travel to Cedar Point! Permission slips are available in F-9 and seats are going fast! Reserve your spot today!

The “BUILT Edsel Ford TOUGH” shirts are once again available to purchase for a limited time. Order forms are available in the main office and shirt prices start at only $10.  Get your “BUILT Edsel Ford TOUGH” shirt today and show your Edsel pride!

Would you like to help the people in your community as well as the underprivileged around the world?  Edsel Ford High School wants to raise $2,800. For Kids Against Hunger, which feeds families and children around the world.  The only way we can accomplish this goal is by working together as a school.  Tin cans will be placed in the cafeteria.  PLEASE DONATE SPARE CHANGE!

Guest passes for the Homecoming Dance are available in the student office and MUST be turned in NO LATER THAN TOMORROW, Friday, October 4th.  NO EXCEPTIONS!

ATTENTION BOOK LOVERS:  EFHS BOOK CLUB WILL MEET TUESDAY, OCTOBER 8 TO DISCUSS OUR FIRST SELECTION, LIFE OF PI BY YANN MARTEL.  WE WILL MEET OUTSIDE ROOM E2 TO DISCUSS THE BOOK AND ENJOY CIDER AND DONUTS!  READ THE NOVEL AND STOP BY E2 ON OCTOBER 8TH. ALL ARE WELCOME.
