STUDENTS PLEASE REMEMBER ALL SHORTS AND SKIRTS MUST BE FINGERTIP LENGTH. TANK TOPS, SPAGHETTI STRAP SHIRTS AND MUSCLE SHIRTS ARE NOT ALLOWED!

 

NHS induction will be Tuesday, May 28th @ 7 p.m. in the cafeteria!!!!

Attention all students: You are invited to a college fair next Wednesday. This will give you an opportunity to learn about various college opportunities. Lunch will be provided. To sign up and get a permission slip, please see Ms. Tynan in the counseling office or Ms. Talasis in the student office.

REWARD for anyone who turns in a lost iphone 4s. The phone is white and has a pink and white otter box case cover. If found, please return to Ms. Talasis in the student office. No questions asked and a monetary reward will be given.

The Performing Arts Department Annual Car Wash will be held on Friday 17 May 2013 from 2:30 pm to 6:30 pm.  This is their major fundraiser for the year. Donations are appreciated and can be made directly to your favorite Performing Arts students in advance or at the Car Wash.

 

Students who are taking A.S.A.P. night school classes: You are allowed only 6 absences.  If you are 20 minutes late to your night school class that counts as 1 absence.  After 6 absences you will not receive credit for the class.

 

Students Athletes:  Spring athletic banquet forms are available in the Main Office or with Mr. Picano and must be turned in to Mrs. Keveney in the Main Office no late than Wednesday, May 29th.  Every student athlete is required to turn in a banquet form even if you are not attending. 

 

Okay, Edsel students. The 2013 Edsel Ford yearbooks have arrived, and they look incredible. Because of over-runs we still have 15 left to sell before they are gone! The coupons have all expired so books are now $90. If you wait and take your chance at getting one when we pass them out in 2 weeks, they will be $100. Bottom line. Guarantee you get yours before they are gone and buy it from Ms. Beck today in E12.

 

Seniors: Diplomas will be held for any fines that are not paid.  Please check the main office window for a list to see if your name is on there.  Pay your fines to Mrs. Keveney in the main office before you leave May 31st.

 

What does Mr. Dallas, Ms. O’Rourke, Ms. Armstrong, Ms. Daly, Mr. Kiefer, Ms. Fradi, Coach Kontos and many other staff members all have in common?  They will be serving up your favorite foods at McTeacher Night on Tuesday, May 21st at the 50’s McDonalds on Telegraph Road between 4pm -7pm.  Bring your family and friends and let the Edsel Ford staff serve you burgers, shakes and fries.  See you there! 

 

Attention Student Drivers:  Student parking stickers will not be sold this week.

LINK is hosting a dodge ball tournament on Thursday, May 23rd in the main gym afterschool.  Get a team of 10 people together for this fundraiser.  The cost is $25 per team and $1 to watch.  There will be a short rules meeting afterschool in the cafeteria on Tuesday, May 21st.  Get the applications from Mrs. Haddad’s office or the main office. 

 

 

Any senior wishing to give a Commencement Speech at graduation must have the speech typed, double spaced and handed in to Mr. Tyler (C-3). A committee of teachers will then read and rate the speeches. The most highly rated speech will be selected and the author will speak at the ceremony. It will be due May 21st.

 

Applications for next year’s Student Council Officers are available in the Main Office and in C-3 from Mr. Tyler.  Only current Juniors may apply.

 

There are still seats left for the Cedar Point trip on Saturday May 25th. Please turn in money and permission slips to F-9 as soon as possible. First come, first served! 

 

Any student suspended in the previous or current marking period will not be allowed to attended prom, homecoming, sponge, etc…
