There are nine (9) scholarships available for students who plan on attending Henry Ford Community College next year.  The scholarships range from $500 to $1,000.  Students who have a cumulative 3.00 GPA or higher are highly encouraged to see Mr. Baydoun in the counseling Office.  The scholarships will be given on a first come, first serve basis.  Students will need to provide their social security number.  Please see Mr. Baydoun in the couseling office if you have any questions.

 

Ms. Ferris is selling spread the word end the word bracelets for transportation to Special Olympics! They’re going quick so get yours before she sells out! She is in Ms. Ricker’s classroom F6.  Thanks for your support!

 

Senior Girls:  Still looking for the perfect Prom dress? Discount coupons are available for you in the main office from David’s Bridal if you are still searching for that perfect dress.

 

This is a reminder for all students who have signed up for the blood drive to drinks lots of water and hydrate Sunday and to eat a breakfast Monday morning prior to donating blood.

 

Class officers are reminded to recruit 10 athletes (5 boys, 5girls) for the Wheel Chair Basketball Game on Tuesday, March 19.

 

Students and staff: On the evening of March 19 there will be a Wheel Chair Basketball game for charity in the large gym. It will cost $4.00 to get in and all the money will go to charity.

Come see the classes play each other, and then the last game of the evening will be pit members of the “Thunderbirds” professional wheel chair team, Edsel Ford staff, Dearborn Firefighters and members of the Dearborn police department: the first game will begin at 7:00 PM.

 

Hey Seniors we need your baby picture for a guessing game that will take place at your Senior Party.  Please bring in a baby picture no larger than 4” x 6” to main office to be a part of this fun event at your party and you could win a fantastic prize.

 

The Edsel Ford Talon is an annual literary magazine that will be published at the end of the school year. Students and staff are invited to submit original artwork, poetry, short stories, or literary nonfiction by Friday, March 22, 2013. For further information, please see Ms. Prieur in room F-9.

 

Attention student athletes:  Your winter athletic banquet will be Wednesday, March 20th at 5pm.
