TESTING SCHEDULE
Tuesday, March 5 ONLY students (juniors and seniors who have never taken the 7:20 am- 12:30 pm exam) taking the MME attend school. Bus transportation will run as usual in the morning and will return students immediately after the test. No lunch will be available.
Wed. March 6
7:20 am – 10:30 am ONLY students who are taking the MME will attend.
LUNCH WILL ONLY BE AVAILABLE FOR STUDENTS TESTING.
10:30 am – 2:15 pm All students attend. Students who ride the bus will be picked up approximately 3 hours after their usual pick up time. Afternoon transportation will run on the usual schedule.
Thursday, March 7
7:20 am – 10:30 am Students in grades 9-11 will attend. Students who are taking the MME will complete Day 3 of the exam. Freshman will take the EXPLORE Test. Sophomores will take the PLAN Test.
LUNCH WILL ONLY BE AVAILABLE FOR STUDENTS TESTING.
10:30 am – 2:15 pm All students attend. Bus transportation will run as usual morning and afternoon. Seniors will be picked up approximately 3 hours after their pick up time.
Make up MME testing dates: March 19, 20 and 21. Completing all 3 days of the MME/ACT is a Dearborn Public Schools graduation requirement. Students who do not complete all 3 days will not receive a diploma.
Thank you to all of you who contributed to the girl’s basketball program fundraiser Coaches vs. Cancer. We were able to raise $800 all of which goes to the American Cancer Society.
EFS BOOK CLUB – WILL MEET THURSDAY AFTER SCHOOL IN ROOM E2 TO DISCUSS OUR LATEST NOVEL, INSURGENT, AND TO CHOOSE OUR NEXT NOVEL. NEW MEMBERS WELCOME!
Class of 2013 is having a Shake Fundraiser at Potbelly on Michigan Ave. Enjoy a tasty vanilla shake with oreo cookies now, through TODAY, February 27, and .50 of the purchase price will be donated to the Class of 2013 prom!!!
Sponge tickets are being sold. $25 for single and $45 for couples. Guest passes will be in the student office.
The Edsel Ford Talon is an annual literary magazine that will be published at the end of the school year. Students and staff are invited to submit original artwork, poetry, short stories, or literary nonfiction by Friday, March 22, 2013. For further information, please see Ms. Prieur in room F-9.
