 Freshmen, are you interested in running for class officer?  Please grab an application from Mrs. Haddad upstairs in the academy office, from the Main Office, or from Mrs. Armstrong in counseling.  The due date for the application will be January 14th to Mrs. Haddad.  January 15th you will be blueslipped for a short meeting in C3 with Mr. Tyler to go over your campaigns and Jan. 16th you will be videotaped delivering a very brief speech to your class on why you should be elected.  Any further questions please see Mrs. Haddad upstairs or Mr. Tyler in C3. 

Attention Seniors:  Your Senior All Night Party will take place the night of your graduation June 15th at the Dearborn Racquet Club.  You can register to attend this special event during both lunches either Tuesday, January 15th or Tuesday, January 29th for only $35.  Additional days to register for the Senior All Night Party will be announced in future bulletins. 

Ms. Hathaway is excited to report that 3 of her BPA club members were winners at the January 4 Regional Competition that was held at HFCC on Friday, January 4!!! Lama Ahmad, Fatima Albrehi and Mohamad Jaafar.  She was also very proud of her other club members who did not place in the competition but they came prepared, showed up on time and looked great!!!

Edsel Ford Adult Athletic Booster Club is holding a raffle for a new  iPad  with Retina Display16 GB. Tickets are $5.00 each or $20.00 for 5 tickets. The drawing will be held FEBRUARY 1, 2013 during halftime of the Boys Varsity Basketball game. Tickets are available from any of the booster board members, sporting events and concession stand or Mrs. Keveney in the Main Office.

Edsel Ford Book Club will meet next week Tuesday, January 15th in Room E2 to discuss the book “Diver Gent” by Veronica Roth.  Everyone is welcome to attend.

Don’t forget….Drive Safe videos are due to Mrs. Haddad by Jan 18th!!!  $100 goes to the first prize video.  The video has to address distracted driving, be 5 minutes or less, and give statistics on how unsafe driving while texting/ talking/eating can be.

Hey LINK Leaders!  There will be a brief meeting on Thursday Jan. 17th before and after school in the media center. If you are involved in sports and cannot do the after school meeting, you can attend the morning meeting at 7am in the media center.  After school the meeting will begin at 2:25 and last until 2:45 in the media center.  It is mandatory that you come to one of these two meetings!  Don’t forget to RSVP to Mrs. Haddad through Edmodo.
