WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 14, 2012

On Tuesday, November 20th, 2nd hour, the counselors are requesting the presence of ALL seniors to report to the auditorium. We (the counselors) will be going over 2nd semester class selections and meeting with Jostens to discuss caps and gowns!!! Please take attendance first and send them on their merry way! ( by 8:30)  You are welcome to stay for the riveting presentation. Any questions please feel free to contact any of the counselors.

There will be an Islamic Club meeting this Friday after school in room A-1. It will be your last chance to be a member. Everyone is invited.

All girls field hockey players who haven’t turned in their uniforms need to do so immediately to Mr. Picano. 

All student athletes who participated in a fall sport are invited to attend the banquet on Thursday, November 15th sponsored by the Booster Club.  Doors open at 5:30pm and the program will begin promptly at 6pm.  Please dress appropriately for this festive occasion as we celebrate your athletic accomplishments.  

There will be Business Professionals of America club meeting TODAY, Wednesday after-school in Room F8.  If you cannot attend, please see Ms. Hathaway to set another time to work on your competition.

Hey Freshmen!  This Thursday, Nov. 15th your LINK leaders will be holding a “Cocoa and Cram” study session afterschool in the cafeteria.  We will be there from 2:15 until 3:30 with doughnuts and cocoa!!!  You need to bring your books, paper, and pencils to do homework, get some tutoring, or just get all your stuff organized.  Your LINK leaders will be there to help you get it together!  We hope you can join us!

Attention all seniors athletes.  Please see Mr. Picano for a MHSAA scholar athlete award application.  The deadline for the application is November 16, 2012.

There will be cheerleading tryouts coming up.  There will be tryout clinics TODAY, Nov. 14 from 230-4 in the cafeteria and then the tryout will be Nov. 16 at 5 pm in the cafeteria.  You will need a sports physical to tryout.

Please continue to collect non-perishable food items for GLEANERS in your classrooms.  I still have about 4 boxes left if you would like one.  We have changed the prize, we are no longer giving the prize based on the grade, we will have each class by hour compete.  The hour that collects the most will win a pizza party!  Thanks for your support!

THE BOOK CLUB IS READING DARKLY DREAMING DEXTER.  WE WILL MEET ON NOVEMBER 20TH IN E2 TO DISCUSS THE FIRST HALF OF THE BOOK. ALL ARE WELCOME!
