Hey Freshmen! This Thursday, Nov. 15th your LINK leaders will be holding a “Cocoa and Cram” study session afterschool in the cafeteria. We will be there from 2:15 until 3:30 with doughnuts and cocoa!!! You need to bring your books, paper, and pencils to do homework, get some tutoring, or just get all your stuff organized. Your LINK leaders will be there to help you get it together! We hope you can join us!
Attention all seniors athletes. Please see Mr. Picano for a MHSAA scholar athlete award application. The deadline for the application is November 16, 2012.
There will be cheerleading tryouts coming up. There will be tryout clinics STARTING TODAY, Nov. 12, 13, 14 from 230-4 in the cafeteria and then the tryout will be Nov. 16 at 5 pm in the cafeteria. You will need a sports physical to tryout.
Please continue to collect non-perishable food items for GLEANERS in your classrooms. I still have about 4 boxes left if you would like one. We have changed the prize, we are no longer giving the prize based on the grade, we will have each class by hour compete. The hour that collects the most will win a pizza party! Thanks for your support!
THE BOOK CLUB IS READING DARKLY DREAMING DEXTER. WE WILL MEET ON NOVEMBER 20TH IN E2 TO DISCUSS THE FIRST HALF OF THE BOOK. ALL ARE WELCOME!
Try-outs for the boy’s basketball team will be TODAY, Monday, November 12th. All ninth graders will be trying out at 2:30, all juniors and seniors at 3:45 and all 10th graders will begin at 5:45. In order to tryout, students must have a sport physical turned into Mr. Picano. If you have any questions, please see Coach Baydoun in the counseling office.
The Varsity wrestling team is looking for more students to join. They are also looking for boys to fill Varsity spots at 103, 112 and 119 lbs. Official wrestling practice starts TODAY Monday Nov. 12th at 2:30 p.m.
