TODAY IS THE UNDERGRADS HONORS BREAKFAST. THE HONORS STUDENTS WILL BE RECEIVING BLUE SLIPS TO COME TO THE CAFETERIA AT 7:30 A.M.
Come cheer the boys’ soccer team on Saturday as they compete for a district soccer championship. Edsel plays Crestwood at 1PM at Dearborn high.
Congratulations to the Boys cross country team for winning their second straight league championship. Zine Nassr placed first, Danny Garza placed third, Murad Qassem placed 4th and Manny Ortiz placed 8th. Kennedy Rankin placed 5th in the girls’ race.

The Fall Sports banquet for Field Hockey, Swimming, Golf, Volleyball and Boys Tennis is Thursday, November 15th. Boy’s Soccer, Football, Cheer and Cross Country is Monday, November 19th. Banquet forms are available in the Main Office and must be returned to Ms. Keveney by November 9th!!!
Hey all of you Austin Mahone fans. We are silent auctioning off 3 of last year’s yearbooks with Austin’s autograph and a special message. The bidding starts at $50.00. See Ms. Beck in room E12 today. This is your chance to get 2 pieces of memorabilia for the price of 1. Two pictures of Austin are included, as well.
Attention Seniors–you have two weeks from today to get your senior pictures into Ms. Beck for the yearbook. If we don’t have a photo from you, we will use your student ID picture. If you need requirements or photographer information, please pick up a sheet in the Main Office.

Please join Superintendent Brian Whiston, Associate Superintendent Dr. Gail Shenkman and Principal Scott Casebolt for a meeting to be held on Tuesday, October 23rd at 6 p.m. in the auditorium about the tremendous opportunity for Edsel Ford High School students at the Early College Academy @ Henry Ford Community College. All 10th grade students and parents should attend this informational meeting that will explain the program and answer any questions that you may have. We are very excited about the implementation of this newly approved 5 year early college program at each of our high schools.
Wrestling season starts November 12th and there will be a pre-season information meeting will be held on October 30th after school in the wrestling room. Starting Oct. 17th “Learn to Wrestle” every Wednesday 4:00-5:30 p.m. in the E.F. wrestling room.
Hey Edsel teachers and students, if you like to read, join the Edsel Ford Book Club! Our first book is The Help by Kathryn Stockett. Our book discussion will take place in room E2 on Tuesday, October 23rd. All are welcome.
