The Fall Sports banquet for Field Hockey, Swimming, Golf, Volleyball and Boys Tennis is Thursday, November 15th. Boy’s Soccer, Football, Cheer and Cross Country is Monday, November 19th. Banquet forms are available in the Main Office and must be returned to Ms. Keveney by November 9th!!!
Hey all of you Austin Mahone fans..we are silent auctioning off 3 of last year’s yearbooks with Austin’s autograph and a special message. The bidding starts at $50.00. See Ms. Beck in room E12 today. This is your chance to get 2 pieces of memorabilia for the price of 1. Two pictures of Austin are included, as well.
Picture Retakes will be this Thursday. You will only be allowed to leave class if you have an old picture packet in your hand or you are blue-slipped. Teachers will hand out blue-slips in class during 3rd-5th hours. Remember-YOU MUST HAVE YOUR ORIGINAL PICTURE PACKET TO LEAVE CLASS FOR RETAKES-YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO GO TO YOUR LOCKER TO GET IT.

Attention all JV field hockey players. Please see Mr. Picano for a banquet form and also turn in your uniforms to him.
Please join Superintendent Brian Whiston, Associate Superintendent Dr. Gail Shenkman and Principal Scott Casebolt for a meeting to be held on Tuesday, October 23rd at 6 p.m. in the auditorium about the tremendous opportunity for Edsel Ford High School students at the Early College Academy @ Henry Ford Community College. All 10th grade students and parents should attend this informational meeting that will explain the program and answer any questions that you may have. We are very excited about the implementation of this newly approved 5 year early college program at each of our high schools.
If you bought a raffle ticket for RENT A SENIOR, names will be pulled on Monday and you will be notifed by the end of the day if you won. You will meet your senior on Tuesday morning before school upstairs in Mrs. Haddad’s office and they will be at your service for the day!
There will be a Powderpuff meeting Thursday after school in C4. If you want to play, you MUST attend or see Ms. Lark!
If you ordered photos at Homecoming, you can pick them up from Ms. Lark in C4 afterschool.
There will be an informational meeting for all girls interested in competing for the gymnastics team this year. Please report to the cafeteria TODAY October 17 at 2:30 for the meeting.
Wrestling season starts November 12th and there will be a pre-season information meeting will be held on October 30th after school in the wrestling room. Starting Oct. 17th “Learn to Wrestle” every Wednesday 4:00-5:30 p.m. in the E.F. wrestling room.
Hey Edsel teachers and students, if you like to read, join the Edsel Ford Book Club! Our first book is The Help by Kathryn Stockett. Our book discussion will take place in room E2 on Tuesday, October 23rd. All are welcome.
