RELAY FOR LIFE!!!!!
TO ALL STUDENTS: Cailee Drzinski, a 2011 Edsel Ford Graduate is heading the Dearborn area Relay for Life, which is taking place this weekend. She is looking for student volunteers to handle various duties during the relay. If you are interested and would like to perform some Community Service hours, please contact Cailee directly at (313) 600-0726 or email her at drzinski1ca@alma.edu. Please contact her as soon as possible so that she can schedule you for a convenient time for you.
The Dearborn Police Department is conducting the 2012 YouthAcademyprogram. This program will give our students an inside look into the police work details. Any 9th, 10th or 11th grade student who might be interested in becoming a police officer in the future should see Mr. Baydoun in the counseling office no later than Friday, May 11th.
There will be a brief meeting for all swimmers, both boys and girls, in the pool balcony on Thursday, May 10, immediately after school. Boys will pick up Academic All-State Certificates. Girls will discuss the schedule and practice times for next season.
All students; any student who would like to test out may see their counselor in the counseling office for an application. If you failed a class or earned partial credit, you may test out of that class or classes to regain the credit. Please see your counselor if you have any questions.
Attention Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors:
Get first-hand knowledge on the opportunities the local colleges and universities have to offer by attending Access’s 2nd Annual College Fair. Students who attend will take part in 10 minute meaningful sessions with representatives from the University of Michigan-Dearborn, HFCC, and College for Creative Studies,OaklandCommunity College,MacombCommunity College,MadonnaUniversity,WayneStateUniversity andLawrenceTechnologicalUniversity. Space is limited!
Admission is free and lunch will be provided.

The Yemeni American Benevolent Association proudly announces its second annual scholarship event for Yemeni American high school seniors. Students must have at least a 3.0 GPA to be eligible. Also, applicants must have proof of enrollment in college before receiving the award. Please see Mr. Baydoun in the counseling office if you’re interested.
PROM TICKETS ARE $45.00 FOR A SINGLE TICKET, $80.00 PER COUPLE. If you are bringing a guest to PROM, you will need a guest pass for them. Guest passes are available in the student office and are due NO LATER than FRIDAY, MAY 11th……NO EXCEPTIONS
