Hey Seniors! Make sure to pick up your Senior Shirts so we can “BLACK OUT” this Friday at the Dearborn vs. Edsel Varsity football game! It’s not too late to purchase one for just $12 if you requested a size, if you did not they are $14. Shirt sale will be TODAY THRU FRIDAY ONLY!!

All lunch applications need to be turned in to the student office by October 1^st. If you had free or reduced lunch last year you MUST re-apply this school year. NO EXCEPTIONS!!

Our after school academic program (ASAP) registration is now open. All registrations must be received by this Friday. Registration forms are available in the main office. You must get a counselor’s signature on your form prior to turning it into the office this week so please plan accordingly.

Spanish National Honor Society Meeting will be held TODAY, Wednesday, September 17^th @ 2:20. This is a mandatory meeting for all SNHS Officers.

“There will be a short Model UN meeting this Friday after school in room B-9, new members are welcome.”

Without Prior Approval, any student holding an AVIP card needs to arrive and leave the building at whatever time indicated on the card! No students will be allowed to hang in the Media Center, Cafeteria or anywhere else in the building before their classes begin or after they’ve ended.

ALL STUDENTS interested in the stage productions for this year should attend the first Drama Club meeting on Thursday, September 15^th. Those interested in acting, crew and the technical aspects of the show should also attend.

This Friday night, our Thunderbirds will be playing our rivals from Dearborn High in the biggest football game of the year! We need the entire student body and every staff member to come cheer them on. Paint your faces, dress in your Edsel Ford gear, bring your signs, and be ready to cheer the team on to victory. Also, during the first quarter, the Edsel stands will be photographed for this year’s yearbook cover. Come be part of history! Friday night, Edsel Ford football field…Go Thunderbirds!

Do you have an interest in American history? Are you interested in the military? Ms. Lark is looking for volunteers to work on a research project about the Vietnam War. Please see her in C-4 if you are interested in helping her out.

ATTENTION ALL LINK LEADERS! There will be a Grab and Go Link meeting by the cafeteria, Monday, September 12^th during both lunches. You will vote for Homecoming court nominations from Link Crew and receive an updated freshmen list! Stop by!!

If you’re not sure when you go to lunch, please check with your 4^th hour teacher. We also have a list on the Main Office window.

STUDENTS! YOU HAVE UNTIL OCTOBER 1^ST TO PURCHASE A PARKING PASS! IT IS IMPORTANT THAT YOU GET YOUR PARKING PASS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, MANY STUDENTS HAVE LEFT LIGHTS ON AND WE ARE UNABLE TO LOCATE THE OWNER.

Students, staff, and parents are encouraged to attend the anti-bullying extravaganza. We want Edsel to have a representative group in attendance. The event will take place TODAY, Wednesday, September 14 at 6:00 p.m. at the Dearborn Community and Performing arts Center. Please plan on attending!
