  • FRESHMEN ORIENTATION TONIGHT AT 6:30 P.M.!
  • THE LIBRARY WILL BE CLOSED THURSDAY FROM 11:35 – 12:20.
  • Students & staff:  This Saturday, March 26th is Earth hour!!!  All across the world people will be shutting off their lights, cell phones, and computers for 1 hour from 8:30 pm until 9:30 pm!!!!  Satellite images of the Detroit area will be online after 9:30 p.m. to show our area go dark for one hour!  The energy saved during Earth Hour is unbelievable!!  Take part in the “green” activity and do your part to help conserve!!
  • Also…Don’t forget to but your “Green” shirts from your biology teachers!  Only $10, plus $2 if you want it tye-dyed!  See Mrs. Haddad or Mrs. O’brien for details

Martin Luther King Jr!  Words from his famous “I have a dream” speech have been highlighted in the Edsel logo.  T-shirts are ten dollars and you can choose gray, hot pink, lime green, or purple shirt colors.  Please stop by F9 to drop off your order form and money by March 31st.  Go Edsel!

  • ATTENTION STUDENTS – If you took pictures of the Sponge Dance or any other recent EFHS event and would like to share them among the building, please see Mrs. Tynan in the Media Center.
  • ALSO, A REMINDER, MEDIA CENTER VISITORS MUST HAVE A STUDENT PLANNER PASS – ONE PLANNER PER STUDENT PLEASE.  THANKS!   GROUPS MAY USE THE INDEPENDENT STUDY FORM.
  • Attention all senior student athletes.  The deadline to turn in your booster club scholarship application is fast approaching.  The application is due by Thursday, March 31, 2011. If you have any questions please see Mr. Picano.
  • Permission slips for the U of M – Ann Arbor field trip are due TODAY,  Thursday, March 24th to Mr. Baydoun in the counseling office.  The first 50 students will be allowed to attend the field trip!
  • Senior Party Tickets on sale TODAY, Thursday March 24th during both lunches.
  • Support the class of 2013 by buying a lollipop.  Lollipops are 50 cents and we have 24 different flavors.  See Dana Mroue, Amanda Albawi, Greg Samuel, Jeff Williams or Mr. Lark and buy one after school today!!
  • In Honor of March is Reading Month, the Media Center will reduce all book charges and fines by 50% UNTIL APRIL 1ST. Do you own any old gently used clothes not in use anymore? 
  • There is now a clothing drive at Edsel Ford.  Donation bins are located around the school.  For any questions, contact Marwa Hammoud or Mrs. McAuliff.
  • Lunch is Pizza and Homemade Rice Pudding!!
