TUESDAY, JANUARY 18TH !!

HOPE YOU ALL HAD A GREAT WEEKEND!!!

Locker clean out – Friday, January 21st , 8:15 – 8:25am.  Teachers please check the banks of lockers on each side of your classroom to ensure the students did clean them of unnecessary debris.

The GSA (Gay/Straight Alliance) will be meeting on Wednesday, January 19th after school in the choir room!!!

YOU only have two more weeks before yearbooks go up to $85.00!! There are less than 100 left to pre-order!  Don’t wait!  We sold out last year and this year’s book is bigger and better!!!

The PTSA is looking for students to submit a short essay on a special someone who has made a positive impact in their life.  This person can be a coach, clergyman, parent, relative, teacher, neighbor, or even a sibling.  We will choose the essay that is most unique and clearly defines a mentor.  The student and their mentor will be invited to and recognized at our 2011 PTSA Founders Day Dinner.  Entries must be received no later than Jan 21, 2011.  Essays should be e-mailed to mariamsalha@ymail.com.

Any girls interested in playing softball this year, there will be conditioning starting TODAY, Tuesday, January 18, right after school in the cafeteria.

Students, do you have a talent?  Well then, make a video of yourself & your friends performing that talent.  Submit your video to room E-11. There will be prizes for the winners.

The Michael Berry Center will have a presentation for all parents of Juniors and Seniors regarding the financial aid process.  The presentation will include completing the 2011-12 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) correctly as well as answering questions regarding scholarships and grants.  It will take place on Tuesday, January 25th from 6:30 – 7:30 in the Lecture Hall.
