T.G.I.F.!!  WAS IT A LONG WEEK OR WHAT?! J

The Undergraduates Honors Breakfast, Friday, October 22, 8:00 a.m., in the Cafeteria. Invited students will be receiving a blue slip 1st hour to attend.  Please make sure you attend to receive your honor.  All AVIP students will not go to their a.m. classes. You will be school related for that day.

If you have any questions please see Mrs. Hall in the Main Office.

Attention seniors!  Have you been accepted to a college, university, or apprenticeship program?  Have you joined the military?  If so, let us know about it so that you may be recognized!  Once you get accepted, please come to C4 and let Ms. Lark know so she can add you to the Wall of Success!

Drama Club will meet on Monday, October 18 @ 2:30 in the Choir room.  All persons working or interested in working on the Fall Production are required to attend.

All girls interested in trying out for the 2010/2011 Unified Gymnastics team should attend a brief informational meeting on Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at 2:30 in the Edsel Ford cafeteria.

Show your Edsel Spirit TONIGHT at the Homecoming Game…Wear black and white and be in the bleachers in front of the announcer’s booth at the end of the 1st quarter. You will be part of a historical moment!! Everyone needs to be there wearing Thunderbird spirit gear… Go…go…black and white!!

Wednesday, October 20 – Hope College at 8:00 a.m. in the conference room

Friday, October 22 – Madonna University on Site Admissions Only from noon until? (10 minute appointments) in the conference room

Monday, October 25 – Western Michigan University at 1:00 (On-Site Admissions) Location TBD

Tuesday, October 26 – 12:15 On-Site Admissions Only in the conference room

Wednesday, October 27 – UofM Flint at 9:30 in the conference room

Thursday, October 28 – Lawrence Tech. at 1:00 in the auditorium (On-Site Admissions)

If you CAN NOT have your picture in the yearbook, the orange form must be turned in to room E-12 TODAY, Friday, Oct. 15. No exceptions can be made. TODAY is the last day to turn in the orange form to room E-12 if you CAN NOT have your picture in this year’s yearbook.”

TO ALL STUDENTS:  HYPE ATHLETICS IS COORDINATING A GREAT NEW PROJECT TO ENCOURAGE SAFETY, SECURITY AND COMMUNITY SERVICE.  The goal is to create a safe environment for the community on Halloween night.  The student body of Edsel Ford is highly encouraged to assist in this event.  The students that do volunteer will receive community service hours.  Please see Mr. Baydoun in the counseling office for an application if you are interested.

Want to make money with just ten dollars?  Mr. Grenfell’s AP Econ class is making a mutual fund which is available for anyone to invest in.  It is ten (10) dollars a share and you will get the money, plus any gains or losses at the end of the year.  For more information, contact Mr. Grenfell in room B-11 or Vice President/Treasurer, Ahmed Harhara.

Students, there are many students and staff members who cannot be exposed to fragrances due to health issues.  Please do not spray perfumes, cologne or any fragranced item in school.  Thank you for your cooperation.

THIS WEEK IS SPIRIT WEEK –Friday Black & White Day.

CORRECTION!  TODAY, (FRIDAY) is the last day for HOMECOMING TICKETS will be on sale during both lunches.  The homecoming Dance is October 16th from 7-10pm.  Tickets are $40 per couple and $25 single.  NO ADMITTANCE TO THE DANCE AFTER 8 PM!

TODAY IS THE LAST DAY!!  Lunch applications are available in the student office.  You MUST turn in a lunch application EVERY year.  All applications are due to the Student Office TODAY!
