Daily News for September 26th

Good morning, Edsel Ford.  Today is Friday, September 26th, and these are your daily announcements.

 

Attention all Seniors: Senior Pride Day is October 7th. Be sure to dress to impress for our class picture.

 

Edsel Ford has been selected to be in the running for Channel 4 game of the week. We already won Channel 2, so let’s be sure we win this one too. Please vote at www.clickondetroit.com/highschool

 

All students: Today: all counselors will be out of the building until noon, but Ms. Hall will be available during the day.

 

All students: After school detentions are in Room C5 this year. Avoid getting detention or you will be spending some quality time with Mrs. James!

 

Those interested in playing Junior Powderpuff, please turn in your $15 for t-shirts and $5 for pay-to-play to either Olivia Amend or Nadia Ourchane by this Friday. 

 

Junior Powderpuff, practices will be held every Tuesday and Thursday at 6:30 and Saturday at noon at O.L. Smith Middle School.  This includes next week’s break.  Please be there if possible.

 

Homecoming tickets will be on sale TODAY!  at both lunches. Prices are $40 for a couple and $25 for a single. Be sure to get yours. Tickets will NOT be sold at the door.

 

There will be a homecoming tailgate today from 5:30 to 7:00 in the student parking lot. Tickets will be sold at lunch for $7. Students, teachers, parents and fans are all welcome. All you can eat hamburgers and hot dogs. Face paint will also be available.

 

All students who drive in our parking lot must have a student permit, no later than TODAY!!. Tickets will be issued when we return from break, so be sure to have the sticker visible in the lower left corner of your windshield.

 

Attention seniors:  Baby ads are due to Ms. Beck in E12 by October 31st.  See the yearbook staff for details.

 

Attention seniors:  Senior pictures must be turned in to Ms. Beck in E12 TODAY if you want to be pictured in this year’s yearbook.

 

Attention seniors: If you are interested in receiving information about Baker College, a representative will be visiting Edsel Ford on Monday, October 6th. This is the Monday we return from break, so if you are interested, please sign up in the counseling office today.

Girls Varsity Cross Country away at Divine Child on Saturday

 

Today’s lunch menu will consist of: 

Macaroni and cheese, tomato soup, hamburger, sliced bread, sherbert, spicy fries, assorted sandwiches, salads, cheese rolls, pizza sticks, and homemade chocolate chip cookies
