In an effort to enjoy and celebrate Halloween at Edsel Ford High School appropriately, respectfully, and in accordance with the school dress code we ask that students use the following guidelines when selecting a costume:

1. Ensure that the costume is school appropriate and does not disrupt the learning environment.

2. No masks or props.

3. No costumes that depict violence, alcohol or drugs.  No fake weapons or props.

4. No costumes that could be offensive or perpetuate a stereotype of someone’s culture, gender, heritage, or religion.

5. No clown costumes.

Students wearing questionable costumes may be asked to change into normal school attire.
