All golfers trying out for the team report to B-1 after school Monday at 3:25 for a short meeting!
This week is Spirit Week!! Let’s see which class is truly the best here at Edsel Ford??
Each class will be competing in a hall decorating contest. Winners get bragging rights!

Here’s what we will be wearing each day.
- Military Monday (3/10): (students can wear army green or camouflage. Please note that the student code of conduct will be enforced, NO TOY WEAPONS WILL BE ALLOWED!)
- Twinning Tuesday (3/11): Dress up like your best buddy!
- Walt Disney Wednesday (3/12): Dress like your favorite Disney character
- Thunderbird Thursday (3/13): Wear your Tbird pride- black and white!!!
- Flannel Friday (3/14): 1995 called, and they want their flannel back 😉 Show that Tbird pride!!
For those interested in trying out for Baseball. Tryouts begin Today, March 10th. Junior Varsity tryouts will be from 5pm -7pm in the main gym. Varsity tryouts will be from 7pm – 9pm in the main gym. You must have a sports physical on file in order to tryout out. To get your sports physical forms see Mr. Picano.
REMINDER!!! Boys and Girls track athletes will meet in the cafeteria on Today at 3:35 pm. Dress appropriately with running shoes. You must have a physical to train and last GPA has to be over a 2.0! Coach Tyler
Upcoming College Visit FOR THIS Week:
- Tuesday, March 11th Central Michigan University will be attending Edsel.
- All attending must sign up in the Counseling Office before 5th Hour on Monday, March 10th
- You will be blue slipped down near the end of 6th hour to go directly to the auditorium.
ASAP Classes will resume Today, TUESDAY, March 11th.
Support Kids Against Hunger by getting a Thunderbird Shake at the Potbelly on Michigan Ave. in Dearborn. This fundraiser will be running for the entire month of March. Please help us reach our goal of $2800 by April!!
Dearborn, Edsel Ford, and Fordson High School are sponsoring a Book fair at the Barnes and Noble on the Hill, Saturday, March 15, 12-6 p.m. Please come out and support this wonderful event. All proceeds will benefit our 1st Annual Unity Run being held May 3rd. Members of the Anti-Bullying and Peer Mediation teams will be reading books in the Children’s area. For more information, please see Ms. S or Ms. D.
Popcorn, get your popcorn! The school store will now be selling popcorn again on Tuesday and Thursday during BOTH lunches! The cost will be $1.00 or $.50 depending on the size of the bag.
Sponge Dance will be held on Friday, March 14th. Guest passes are available in the student office. If you plan to invite a non-Edsel student to the dance, they MUST have a guest pass. Passes MUST be returned by turned be Friday, March 7th. NO EXCEPTIONS!!
Do you like to make videos? Are you a safe driver? The LINK crew will be hosting a video competition about driving less distracted. The video must be between 3-7 minutes long, include statistics on safe driving, and be entertaining! Please submit your video to Mrs. Haddad before March 10th. Winner will receive a $150; second place will receive $50! Top two videos will be submitted into a national competition.
Enjoy “A Night on the Town” with that special someone by asking them to the Sponge Dance which will be Friday, March 14th. Tickets are now on sale during both lunch periods and reasonably priced at $25 for a single ticket and $45 for a couples ticket.
