Attention Student Drivers: Student parking stickers will not be sold this week.
All students who do not have a 6th hour class at Edsel Ford please pick up your report cards in the main office before school, during lunch and after school only.

LINK is hosting a dodge ball tournament on Thursday, May 23rd in the main gym afterschool. Get a team of 10 people together for this fundraiser. The cost is $25 per team and $1 to watch. There will be a short rules meeting afterschool in the cafeteria on Tuesday, May 21st. Get the applications from Mrs. Haddad’s office or the main office.
Please see Mr. Naimi in Room G-103 if you would like to attend a free educational trip to the “You Can Change the World Symposium” Event located at the International Institute 111 East Kirby Street, Detroit MI. You will participate in the event which aims to encourage students of all ages to attain economic growth for themselves and their communities through higher education. The event will take place on Friday May 17, 2013 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Lunch and transportation will be provided to all students. Last day to submit the permission slip is Wednesday, May 15th.
Any senior wishing to give a Commencement Speech at graduation must have the speech typed, double spaced and handed in to Mr. Tyler (C-3). A committee of teachers will then read and rate the speeches. The most highly rated speech will be selected and the author will speak at the ceremony. It will be due May 21st.
Edsel Ford High School will be holding its final Blood Drive of the year, Thursday, May 16th. Organizers will be in classrooms early this week. A reminder is that you must have an ID on your person, and you must hydrate and eat a nutritious breakfast the morning of the drive. If you have not had breakfast, you will be turned away.
Applications for next year’s Student Council Officers are available in the Main Office and in C-3 from Mr. Tyler. Only current Juniors may apply.

There are still seats left for the Cedar Point trip on Saturday May 25th. Please turn in money and permission slips to F-9 as soon as possible. First come, first served!
There are very few yearbooks left to order. We can not “hold” any for you so bring your money in and reserve your 2013 yearbook today. They are $80.00 with your blue coupon or $90.00 without.
Attn Seniors: If you received notification that you have a textbook or materials fine, you must resolve this issue before graduation or you will not receive your diploma. Please see Mrs. Keveney in the Main Office to pay your fine.
ATTENTION READERS – EFHS BOOK CLUB MEETING WILL BE THIS THURSDAY, MAY 16TH. WE WILL DISCUSS “BEASTLY” BY ALEX FLINN, SO GRAB A COPY AND WE’LL SEE YOU ON THE 16TH.
Any student suspended in the previous or current marking period will not be allowed to attended prom, homecoming, sponge, etc…
Senior Prom Dance Tickets are on sale at both lunches and the last day to buy tickets is Wednesday. Single ticket is $55, Couples ticket is $95.
Guest Pass applications for Prom are available in the student office.
