There will be a Spanish National Honor Society meeting tomorrow October 15th in Senora Chavez’s room, please bring your money for t-shirts, they are $15, your money for dues, $5 and be prepared to sign up to make chocolates, cookies, and teach children.
Picture re-takes are tomorrow from 9:30-1:30pm
We have scheduled the students that need ID pictures to be taken, but if you have ordered a picture packet and want a retake you must have your old packet, or order forms and money to get out of class to take your picture.
Attention seniors: The deadline for senior pictures for this year’s yearbook is this Friday, October 16th. If you had your senior pictures taken at a studio, just make sure that studio is planning on sending us a CD and that your picture will be included. If we don’t have a picture, your ID picture WILL be used!
Attention all students if you do NOT want your picture in this year’s yearbook, the form MUST be turned in to room E-12 by Friday, October 16th or your picture will be used. Forms can be picked up in room E-12 or the main office.
Students if your parents drop you off in the morning please note that parents are NOT allowed to drop students off on Rotunda Drive. Or make U turns on Rotunda. If they do they WILL be ticketed.

The Thornley Court Club works outside in the courtyard, fund raises to earn money to purchase needed items and grain for the courtyard animals, hold praties, and plans a yearly field trip. Our meetings are held every Wednesday after school upstairs in Ms. Lawlor’s room. Everyone is invited. See you tomorrow!

Attention Juniors, the PSAT test is this Saturday, October 17, 2009. The results will give you an indication on how you might do on the SAT, and your strengths and weaknesses in your academic ares, if you chose to take itPSAT is the qualifying test for the National Merit Scholarship. Juniors: the Princeton review is coming to Dearborn high to help prepare you for the march ACT exam, they offer great tools for achieving a high score on the ACT. While these courses are usually very expensive, they will be offered at a reduced rate of $349. classes start December 10th, see Mr. Keifer for any questions
The prineton review will also be coming to Edsel a offering a free practice ACT test on Wednesday November 11th from 2:30 to 6:30pm, and they will return on the 17th for scores and a strategy session, see Mr. Keifer to sign up.
